Gun Confiscation IS The Goal: NY Veteran In Standoff With Police After Instagram Post
Make no mistake- gun confiscation is the goal.
But its not simply confiscation, its targeting anyone with skills to make them more dangerous for disarmament. And the pilot of this program is right at home in states like MD, NJ, CA and NY. We’re not talking about your average gutter trash gang banger. They’re talking about you and I.
As an Afghanistan Vet living in Mahopac NY found out last night, its not paranoid to believe that the so-called ‘red flag’ laws are framed to target those of us with the experience to be a real threat to the machine. And while it’s unclear if it was a red flag action or the fact that he mentioned a 30rd magazine on his Instagram page, neither is relevant. The guy’s rights were infringed and his life placed in jeopardy for no other reason than a stupid law made by people with lesser testicular fortitude than he.
And more of it is coming. They’re going to do what they’re going to do- act accordingly.
Get armed, get ammo, get supplied, and get trained while linking up with those actually worth your time.

It may ‘look’ suspiciously like he was targeted for being a Veteran, but Occam’s Razor applied makes me think it was just a regular ‘swatting’, either by the beyotch or ‘ex-friend’ using the Keywords “PTSD”, Vet, “Hi-Capacity Magazines” etc. While it is certainly POSSIBLE to data-mine and ‘target’ individuals, after giving them a ‘point value’ of factors for “enemy of the State”, until stuff like this become a LOT more common, I’d go with random thugpig action against a high propaganda-value target.
I Wonder how the government will try and ‘spin’ an Incident where their thugpigs take multiple losses in a Firefight…
Does Your House provide Distance from the Road (with a warning system)? Does your Main Entrance have a Door and Frame that can withstand a Battering Ram? Do you have any Remotely-Activated, mass Countermeasures Devices in the Yard or Porch?
Things to Think about in the near future….
Enough is enough. No more making Faustian deals with the devil to put off the inevitable. Call the bluff of these hoplophobes; demand total and complete, zero-tolerance, gun confiscation today.
Call their bluff. Show society the king has no clothes and let’s bring this to a head.

If it was about to happen to me, the one thing that I would want that you did not list would be a scanner capable of getting the State and local Police dispatch and tactical channels I would rather get out before they arrive and leave nothing for them to find.
I see a lot of this sentiment around the Internet and it concerns me that many people are not thinking beyond day 1 or even what the ideal shtf day 1 should look like if left up to you. Just my opinion, but I think the goal should be to avoid giving battle to the enemy at the time and place of thier choosing. The home defense features you describe may be nice to have in extremis, but avoiding extremis is probably the best solution. Rigging “Mass Countermeasure devices” in the yard or front porch would probably set the wife off unless she is of the same mindset as yourself, and if the neighbors or your kids see it and talk about it you will get to find out how well it works sooner rather than later. I undertsand that people have life cirumstances that dictate where they live, but at some point you have to decide that trying to make a stand at home in the typical American suburban subdivision is probably a bad idea. What would it take to move to a more remote location that affords more privacy and perhaps a decent setback from the road as you describe? That does not make you immune from being raided, but being able to get out the back door before they arrive and into the woods and hills sure beats being surrounded in a densly populated neighborhood. That leaves you with only bad options.
Everyone wants to train and prepare for the boggieman but your house should be in order first.
As we see here the enemy is within and just used the tool from outside.
