VA Senate Committee Passes Red Flag Law

According to WTVR, SB 240, or the ‘Red Flag’ Law is ready to be voted on by the full Senate and then move to the House.

The Democrats called your bluff. The others will follow. Now what?

Do you really think they don’t have a plan for the opposition?

Respectfully disagree. I don’t think the Democrats called anyone’s “bluff.” They have always been going to do what they planned on doing. I also don’t believe that any reasonable person at VA’s Lobby Day believed that the rally itself was going to deter the tyrants. The Lobby Day was what it was, but no reasonable person thought it was going to deter Bloomberg getting his money’s worth.

Virginians need to be workin’ 24/7/365 going forward, that’s clear. (Herschel has some good suggestions over at his place.) But this notion in some quarters that the Lobby Day was supposed to be a defining Deus ex Machina parting of the seas type thing, that then failed, needs to be kicked to the curb.

The Right has said for years “don’t do that or I’ll…….”

      They’re doing that.

      So what next?

    Republicans support Immigration.

    Immigrants vote 70% Left.

Immigration will turn Texas electoral votes blue.

That matters 1,000 times more than any “show of force” wearing tactical gear.
