I believe that more people on board with govt. and citizen reaction a bigger problem then the virus itself then you might think.I did a little fill in some spot shopping and in Northern New England so far shelves still had product including big bags rice/beans ect.The two things noticed getting a bit short was toilet paper and rubbing alcohol.I went shopping on Monday after the usual weekend hit and then again Wednesday and actually saw shelves in a little better stock for moment, same super markets/wally world and dollar store, your area may of course differ.

I do bring up the flu deaths that seem to be between 25,000-45,000 depending on year to just point out that with a lot of deaths and a major suck for those who died and their families we still churn along. We are no where near that and hope never are,but tis why folks prep.

I have had a few friends who while not laughing at me for prepping probably at best have weeks worth of food ask for some help shoring up(advice wise) which I am glad to do,get them thinking about water/heat/med supplies ect.,wish they had started earlier but folks can still be at least more ready then they were till things go wrong and if they don’t go wrong they have at least opened their eyes a bit, every bit helps.

I look at this as a wake up for many and also a hard recheck of what I have goods and info. wise,am always finding holes and probably no matter what always will but the less holes the better.I also found have had tougher conversations with folks I work with to ride a storm out together, better now then when things have truly gone wrong, another group of holes that need work but at least got some issues cleared up to our satisfaction.

Hope this all blows over without too much damage and thanks to all the authors here for helping with the info./mental preps.
