Armed Citizen Corner: Just One Stab/Pre-attack Indicators in a Knife attack, by TX2Guns

Great stuff concerning situational awareness. One of the first dead people I had ever witnessed (maybe the first, but there was a few around that time) was a man stabbed to death by his daughter. Not long after that, I had a friend who got stabbed in a street fight in southern VA, over a girl. He survived but is now missing some of his lower intestine after three deep cuts from a knockoff pocket knife. It happened fast, faster than any of us even realized, and the victim thought he had been punched in the stomach a few times. We didn’t know until he collapsed what had actually happened. The 21 foot rule is real. -NCS

Understanding that it only takes one stab for somebody to kill you with a knife will give you more appreciation for Pre-Attack Indicators and and Keeping a respectable distance from strangers 24/7 (aka Reactionary Gap).
