Pat Sends: the CIA officer who wore a necklace of human ears

How the times have changed, indeed. They’ll come full circle though. Today’s communists haven’t had anyone really fighting them, yet. I’ve bled for my nation and am pretty damn good at shedding others’ blood in defense of it. Here’s to them, for they not yet comprehend what they ask. -NCS

Oh, how times have changed…

During the Vietnam War, there was a CIA paramilitary officer named Tony P.

To say that he hated communists would be an understatement.

Whenever a mercenary or anyone else killed a communist in Laos, he wanted them to bring him proof in the form of heads or at least ears.

He would have the heads covering the floor in the place he was staying.

And, he would wear the ears around his neck on a necklace.

Supposedly, after getting ticked off at the US ambassador to Laos, he mailed several of the ears to the ambassador.

He also supposedly threw some of the heads out of a helicopter into enemy territory.

Tony P. was certainly an interesting character and he passed away in 2003.

I think it’s safe to say that the Agency frowns upon this type of behavior these days.

And when I was there, I never came across anything like this. (Although, I did know some crazy guys.)

But the fact is, the threat of communism is still very real. After all, socialism leads to communism.

So, while I wouldn’t encourage anyone to go hack off ears…

I would encourage you to make sure you’re voting…

Supporting the Second Amendment…

Proudly displaying the American flag… (and maybe get this flag coin)

And, not being afraid to voice your opinion on freedom versus socialism/communism.

July 4th will be here before we know it, but of course, we need to defend and support freedom daily.

Stay safe,

Jason Hanson

“The problem with society today is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore“ – seems appropriate.

I’m surprised “The Company” would tolerate such behavior, even during that era. He must have been deemed too important to the cause, so a blind eye was turned his way. Engaging in such behavior these days would result in a one way ticket to Leavenworth.
If one looks past the the shock factor, there is much to glean.
