    Made in Communist China.

Last time we fought the ChiComs face to face, they were using SKS rifles and old Russian submachineguns. For comms they used field wire, bugles and flares.

Now they are making pretty decent optics and electronics at a price we can’t touch.

Next time we fight them….they won’t be carrying SKSs and blowing bugles.

Thanks to billions of dollars and euros we sent them to build factories.

Primary Arms, and this scope in particular, is made in the Philippines.

Who makes a comparable product, made in the USA? If not now, when? If not us, who? I hate sending any USD to ChiCom companies, even if they are offering excellent products. We are literally selling the Communists the rope to hang us.

Maybe the Primary Arms folks can find a US supplier, too? Top end Vortex & Leopold are US made?

    Good point, Bracken.

For decades, despite being trillions in debt, we’ve also been giving Red China billions in foreign aid, then in effect borrowing it back from them (at interest). Both parties approve of this arrangement. Cui bono?

Clinton also gave them our strategic technology, and they were given access to our patent office to steal American innovations, so they can produce them and undersell the people who developed them. Is there any question about whose interests are being looked out for by our policy makers?

But on the subject of scopes: anybody got a recommendation on an ACOG mount for the Mini-14?

Primary Arms makes great optics, I’ve got the platinum 1-8 and even at $1200 it’s still with the money. I’ve compared side by side with Nightforce’s 1-8 and I didn’t see anything I was missing out on.

It looks like Primary Arms has filled the market void that Vortex once was in when all they had were quality optics at a reasonable price. Yes dear reader Vortex still has the budget priced Strike Eagle. Their line up is now lead by the $2,000 to $3,000 optic, fine quality but $$$$.

Thanks for the review on the Primary Arms, looking for a 3-12.
