I’ve been disappointed in rifles before too.. Keep workin at it.. Horizontal stringing, try an Accuwedge.. Takes any slack out of the upper/lower fit.. It has worked for me on several ARs..

Ammo.. I heard somebody call it, “throwing diamonds down range”.. No kiddin!
Luckily, I resupped Ammo in January, before the Kung Flu.. Just got lucky!

But, I’m being Ammo Frugal right now, just like everyone else!

    Nice beer gut Hawkeye.

    You live in Florida homie.

If you walk down the beach, you can checkout half naked women for free. They actually want you too. It’s the whole reason they there…

Anyway, horizontal stringing is trigger squeeze. And Vertical is breathing.

You sound winded. Probably the beer gut.

I have trained hundreds of paratroopers in Marksmanship.

If you are out of shape, you need to lay in the prone and let your muscles relax before you shoot. No exceptions.

But good news. You basically just fired a stress Shot group and it was 11/10 perfect.

You passed my course trooper. On to the 1300 meter MG course with your M4 and reddot (Not kidding)

BTW, all the Infowars products work. They are top notch. Since you can’t buy ammo, but supplements. I bought two years worth last month.

If you skip the beer, pizza, and stop putting sugar in your coffee, you will lose ten pounds in a month.

You’re quite a story teller, homie.

Lose the shitbag attitude and you might be useful.

      • Johnny Paratrooper August 6, 2020 at 11:29

What Shitbag attitude? The entire NCO core at Fort Bragg trained and taught me to be like this.

You would say the SAME thing to me. In fact, I recall you mocking the fat dude with the .50 caliber rifle at the Virginia rally.

Did you not say the exact same thing about him? I believe you referred to him as “Totally Useless” for about 4 minutes straight. Same for the 2 idiot lawyers in St. Louis.

There is no other way to win. If you knew me, You would be laughing, not lamenting, my comments.

I’m simply trying to motivate our dude Hawkeye. Losing ten pounds of guts you don’t need, is ten pounds of gear you can carry.

Written text is a cold medium. I wasn’t trying to piss anyone off.

When I was at Bragg, We would shoot out to 1300 meters on the MG course. It is 100% possible to connect with your target at that distance. It isn’t a story. It was the standard during train ups before Afghanistan.

One time Kyle Lamb himself spend a few weeks with us.

Ask him, the whole course was his Idea.

You know exactly what I’m saying, slick.

Knock it off, this ain’t WRSA, and you don’t impress me.

    • johnyMac August 5, 2020 at 07:34

Johnny Paratrooper, I did not understand any part of your comment on Hawkeye’s video, then it dawned on me. You are one of those wannabe’s hence your handle.

I can see it now; you are sitting in your mom’s basement in your shorty PJ’s with cartoons printed on them. Maybe Donald Duck.

Anyway, thanks for reading American Partisan. You have that going for ya’.

Johnymac, Is there an index of past articles anywhere on AP? I’m trying to reference your past articles on water and can’t find anything. Maybe I’m missing something. Thanks

        • johnyMac August 5, 2020 at 16:49

          Homer, Brilliant question.

          1) Yes there is although it is a bit funky. Have you tried the ‘search’ window at the top right on the Home page? I just typed in water and a whole slue of articles posted concerning water on AP from the past. I typed in hansom devil and low and behold my pic popped up. ;-)
          2) We are working on a new format for AP. Hopefully, it will be done by January 2021. Part of the new format will have a better archives section, a lot less funky.
          3) If you do not find what you are looking for, drop us an email at, [email protected] and one of us will help you.

Mocking a millennial for living in his parent’s basement is not very fair.

First, 30% of millennials live with their parents. And that’s not by choice.

Second, It’s the effect of living through two economic collapses

Third, the buying up(or giving away) of all affordable housing by the immigrants (legal and illegal)

        Let’s talk about ignorant comments…

FYI, I remember ALL of the NCO’s I served with being exceptionally rude about the same things that I casually mentioned.

Hawkeye asked himself why his group’s were all over the place.

The answer is the answer. Don’t kill the messenger.

        • NC Scout August 6, 2020 at 11:44

The answer is, I own this site. Don’t talk shit to people who make it what it is, learn some respect, or get gone. Understand?

So you understand BRM, a basic soldier task. To suggest shooting to 1300 meters…nope.

          Want me to keep going?

          • Johnny Paratrooper August 6, 2020 at 11:48

Understood. I just wrote an apology to Hawkeye.

You want professionalism here. I will comply with your house rules.

    • Hawkeye August 5, 2020 at 11:53

Once again, another example of the old adage – better to be silent and thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

      • Johnny Paratrooper August 6, 2020 at 11:46

You asked why your groups were wide open considering your ammo choices are top notch.

Don’t kill the messenger Hawkeye. I watched you video twice. I didn’t see your rifle move any more than the countless times I watched Paratroopers perform a stress shoot. Which is exactly what your did after a day of chopping wood. And you did really, really great.

Next time you shoot after a day of hard work chopping wood, You need to lay in the prone for a while doing breathing exercises and priming your muscles with oxygen. It can take up to two hours depending on the physical conditioning of the shooter. I would suspect you need nearly that much after a day of swinging an axe(or rucking) because I need nearly that long. And I weight 195 lbs @ 6’4″. The breathing and laying in the prone allows your shoulders, abs, and back/neck muscles to relax and release their tension. The breathing exercises (oxygen priming) relaxes your diaphragm and lowers your blood pressure. You should also stretch your legs out. Since each leg can be 20% of your bodyweight on average.

That’s 20% of your body mass(times two) twitching and begging for oxygen and a stretch will affect your shooting.

We both know that having 80 pounds of muscle and bone below your waist twitching and asking for oxygen is going to affect your shooting.

I won’t tease you again. I’ll stick to a professional tone hence forth and I sincerely apologize.

        • Johnny Paratrooper August 6, 2020 at 12:14

Wading through my BS, there is a tactical/technical lesson here. If you have a long, hard movement to an objective, we were trained to give ourselves enough time after arrival to relax, breath, and get set in. In order to maintain the best performance from ourselves. Sometimes our movements were 30 hours long, no sleep, few breaks. The longest mission I was ever on, in theater, I saw the sun rise twice, and didn’t sleep until dusk.

Imagine having a cohort of moderately trained and physically conditioned Militia men. It would behove us to understand our limitations and what we can do to alleviate these problems and maximize the effectiveness of amateur soldiers. Fear, stress, and muscle fatigue is the hardest obstacle to overcome.

This is hard enough to accomplish with professional soldiers. And I personally have never tried this with untrained, unconditioned men. I can only imagine.

          • NC Scout August 6, 2020 at 12:19

            Agreed.

          • Hawkeye August 6, 2020 at 18:38

I never asked why the groups were what they were. Not once. I was simply showing them.
Do you know what I did before shooting them? No, you don’t. You come across like you are the only one to know how to shoot because of your experience. Some of us have similar/same experience, and maybe even more, maybe not. Your assumptions about my weight are a downright slap in the face. How much do you think I weigh? Let me guess….you’re basing it off the soaking wet sagging t-shirt right? Clue….I don’t drink beer, and I don’t put sugar in my coffee. Just because my DD-214 was dated before you were born, doesn’t give you a free pass to be an arrogant ass. As NC Scout said, this is a place for professional discussion, not chest thumping locker room attitude BS. My NCO’s were hard, but never rude. Different time I guess.
That all said, I’m always a student first. I’m always looking to learn from others. Maybe I was just taught differently, but I always ask some questions though, BEFORE I make assumptions and offer “advice” to someone I am trying to teach or help.
Oh, and yes, I already know all the things you pointed out. Unfortunately, this thing called life doesn’t always allow for one to do the optimal thing. When you have limited time to do what you need to do, you make the best of it and drive on.
