Review of Captain’s Blog response to American Partisan

In this previous post on American Partisan, we learned about the experience some fellow well-trained patriots had when they had a run-in with an AntiFa mob. It wasn’t pretty, and our guys are not slackers by any stretch of the imagination. Like I said, they’re well trained and they have combat experience overseas. They learned a lesson and we need to heed their words. The people we will be fighting are not the gender-studies degree-having, pink haired sissies we like to meme about. They will shoot you, or smoke you in the head with a skateboard, or pepper spray and blind you if you don’t watch yourself. And even then, they still might. This fight is coming, it’s going to be nasty, and we’re all going to have to give a little blood.

In this post at the Captain’s Journal, there is an excellent review of the first post, and some salient points I’ve been thinking about for a long time and haven’t addressed here yet. Namely, what is going to happen when some patriot, or group of patriots, are guarding a business or something, and actually have to fire their weapons in their own self defense? As the CJ stated, “There are two states in America where one can legitimately defend property with deadly force…”, those being Missouri and Texas. There are some states which have laws that “allow” one to do so, but the legal system is full of traps and pitfalls, and let me tell you about these district attorneys. Even in Texas and Missouri, if they want you, they will get you. And the DA always has a ton of incentive to get you, and zero incentive to let you go.

My biggest concern right now for our side, whatever it is we are calling ourselves this week, is that we have groups of men who march out there to do what needs to be done, and the law enforcement apparatus that we all support so much ends up being turned on us. The people from the top to the bottom will likely follow their orders, even if those orders are to bypass the AntiFa rioters and come after you. It’s been done already.

It is simply not easy to defend yourself in America today. They can not get our guns. By my own best estimate, based on the NICS numbers over the past years, there are likely at least 600 million guns in the US. So instead of taking them, they will simply criminalize their use in self defense.

CJ also mentions that we could end up changing our TTPs, and operate from distances rather than up close. This will become necessary.

Some parting advice when you’re in a hot zone (either by choice or not):

-Don’t ever talk to the media or anyone with a camera. They are out to get you killed. Get away from them or get them away from you. Don’t let them ID you. AntiFa is looking at media photos and videos, trying to ID our people so they can locate, ambush and kill them. Yes, this is happening. The media is aware and they are good with that.

-Don’t advertise your location or intentions to anyone. Only your hard-hearted friends need to know that you’re defending businesses and homes. The media and Fakebook do not. Why do you even have a Fakebook?

-Please kit yourself as you need, but be able to blend in too. It’s not Kandahar or Baghdad. Don’t stick out in a crowd. They key on that.

-Have three escape routes for each mode of transport (primary, secondary, emergency). Have a motor vehicle? Three routes. Have a bike stashed away? Three more routes. Have two working legs? Three more routes AND two hide spots in the nearby area if you can’t egress far enough. It would suck to sit inside a hollowed out tree behind the corner store a block away, or on top of the fire escape down the road for six hours while the fighting dies down but it sucks less than being killed by a mob in the street.

-NEVER go anywhere alone. Kyle Rittenhouse defended himself masterfully for his situation, but to my knowledge, he started out with a group of people. He found himself alone at some point. Do not find yourself alone. Don’t leave your group. AntiFa isn’t going to, so you don’t either.

Good advise re: the “reporters” and anyone with a camera. I think the cameraman in the Kenosha shooting who interviewed Kyle was an ABR scout. He seemed friendly and neutral when he approached the defenders at the car lot looking for their side of the story. It was clear he was there to ascertain leadership, numbers, skills, armament, disposition, etc, and Kyle was a little too eager to share with him in my opinion. He was probably identified as a leader based upon his demeanor and an easy mark to be disarmed and killed based upon his obvious youth and non-threatening outward image. The interview provides some good reference material for Kyle’s legal defense, but I’m sure that is an accidental coincidence.

    • Shinmen Takezo September 11, 2020 at 15:21

These alleged “reporters” are actually there with multiple functions… yes, they are with the BLM/RevCom insurrectionists. Their main function is to document any ‘counter action’ taken against them (hopefully violent) by FREE-FOR–and then to quickly share these videos to the MSM for supporting spin and propaganda. Some of them are actual press but you will see their specific organization credentials hanging from their necks. These fools with just the words “press” on a black tactical vest–they are just part of the insurrection.

It seems that this coming civil war will in fact be covered in detail and televised/streamed live as it unfolds. It you see them step to the front to get position for someone throwing a molotov-cocktail, they are working for the propaganda arm of the insurectionists.

Here’s what’s going to happen. The police are going to TRY to arrest these people and they are going to say F.U.! You can’t arrest the people starting fires etc…and NOW YOU THINK YOU’RE GOING TO ARREST ME –FOR DOING YOUR JOB, No.

    • Gray Man September 11, 2020 at 12:51

I hope you’re right about that, but so far the evidence shows that the police will indeed try to arrest us for doing what we have to do, and our side will allow it. For now, at least.

      • Matt Bracken September 11, 2020 at 13:31

        DGC. Big Time.
        Don’t Get Captured.
Not on video, not in person, in no way get captured.

  3. Matt Bracken September 11, 2020 at 10:33

All good points above, especially about never being split from your buddies or your wing man, and having planned escape routes.
The communists are learning, and so must we. It’s not enough to try to blend in with the Antifa mob, they are too good at detecting fakers. I think that defense of businesses, for example is going to come down to concealed hides. The low-hanging fruit in the equation is the ABR arsonist.

Once any fires have been lit in your AO, in a car, or just a pile of trash in a street, anti-arson RUF/ROE come into effect. Not legally, perhaps, but morally and ethically. This especially applies during the hours of darkness, when fires ramp up the terror factor exponentially. As soon as ABR is lighting fires, the RUF should be weapons free against arsonists, and this means they can and should be shot. This also means that if the arsonist is using ABR meat shields to conceal himself, too bad for them.

The benefit of targeting arsonists after fires have been lit is that nobody can defend them after they are shot. This is similar to the shooting death of Michael Reinholt in Washington State after he committed an assassination on video in Portland. Nobody defended him after his death but the most rabid Communist terrorists, and they defend Lenin, Stalin and Mao.

I fully understand that a posted sentry who shoots an arsonist, even after other fires have been set, will very likely be arrested just like Kyle R. was arrested. This is why patriots will need to shoot from concealment, targeting arsonists in particular. Nobody will be able to defend an arsonist preparing, lighting, or throwing a Molotov cocktail, or a high-altitude explosive/incendiary firework used at ground level as a grenade.

Depending on the terrain and situation, aimed rifle fire directed at the arson terrorist might be optimal. In other situations, a shotgun might be better, given its ability to alternate between dove, turkey and buck shot.

The point is, arsonist in the act of setting fires can and should be taken under fire by local citizens, if the police have abdicated their responsibility to protect the community from these ABR terrorists.

Here is a short security camera video of a guy throwing a lit Molotov cocktail into a home with people sleeping inside. Watch it a few times, and harden your hearts.

Arsonists should be shot without mercy.

Correct Matt. The authorities in several states have forced people to use concealment when engaged in self defense. I Have seen ABR discharge firearms at innocent people in several incidents now including attempted traffic interdictions in Utah and Oregon and the Chop/Chaz shootings in Seattle that involved a fatality. There are probably many others, it is common enough now that its hard to remember them all. What is clear though is that there is no attempt to identify and/or prosecute the ABR shooters, even in the case of the Chop/Chaz fatality. I think the only exceptions so far are Reinholt and 1 of the Salt Lake City shooters. It is entirely likely that once this step is taken in self defense, then the area becomes a defacto no-go zone for police and other state actors who attempt to show up late and exercise law enforcement powers. Sorry, but they abdicated that responsibility by empowering the arsonists. I do not see them getting it back.

    • Will September 11, 2020 at 12:08

Here in Texas, Thank God, Lethal Force is authorized against arsonists-

Sec. 9.42. DEADLY FORCE TO PROTECT PROPERTY. A person is justified in using deadly force against another to protect land or tangible, movable property:

      (1) if he would be justified in using force against the other under Section 9.41; and

      (2) when and to the degree he reasonably believes the deadly force is immediately necessary:

      (A) to prevent the other’s imminent commission of arson, burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, theft during the nighttime, or criminal mischief during the nighttime;

      • Gray Man September 11, 2020 at 13:00

Don’t rest on those laurels, sir. You are expected to follow the law to the letter. The DA is allowed to interpret it in his own way, and if the judge and a jury agree with him, you’re cooked.

      • Johnny Paratrooper September 16, 2020 at 12:04

Texas, Florida, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Nebraska, Utah Virginia, Oregon, and very, very soon Maryland are now the colonial property of the People’s Republic of CaliforniaNewYorkMichiganistan

Your problems exist in the State Capitals, like Annapolis, and their colonial expeditions, like Baltimore.

    • Dan September 11, 2020 at 15:47

The behavior of the DA’s who ignore the law and punish the innocent will only change when they no longer believe they can subvert the law with impunity.

      • Whydah September 19, 2020 at 16:45

Behaviors change only when there exists creditable fear that forces behavioral change. Ponder on that for a minute.

    • Bob September 13, 2020 at 20:31

My question is why even engage them in a riot or protest? These folks have police records and we should be able to get their addresses from court records. Additionally they tend to create little Cider Riot type pseudo businesses which cater to them. If we have reached the point of using deadly force why not simply target them at their home? Even if we haven’t reached the point of using lethal force a few arson attacks on their property would at least inspire our folks.
But for God’s sake enough of this cooperating with the authorities. Shoot, flee, and shut up.

      • Badger September 14, 2020 at 20:48

Much merit to an interesting approach. I like the Michael Collins flavor of it.
Make some of their best accomplices into “won’t be down for breakfast” anymore & let them take the tally.

Bob, the original Three S’s are Shoot, Shovel and Shut up. It was created by country folk for dealing with coyotes and other two legged vermin. The !New! and Improved version for city folk is Shoot, Skedaddle and Shut up.

Please note the desirability of having a spare barrel.

        • Johnny Paratrooper September 16, 2020 at 11:59

A spare barrel for what exactly? Glocks have polygonal rifling…They won’t match your barrel to anything. That’s fantastic Hollywood nonsense. What they will do is examine cases and bullets and determine the most likely firearm used. And if they find a firearm that matches the same “profile” as yours, you are going to prison. Period.

I have a dozen pistols. The spare barrels I own are threaded. None of them are intended to conceal my identity.

If you fire a 7.62 bullet that weights about 123ish grains with 4 rifling groves, and you have an AK, an SKS, or any other type of firearm that would match those ballistic profiles, you are gonna get hauled off faster than your tears can run down your cheek.

You need a weapon that doesn’t match anything else you own. With ammo that isn’t traceable to you. i.e. wasn’t ordered off the internet or purchased from a store using a credit card or debit card. And, most importantly, isn’t stacked in ammo cans next to your gun safe.

8mm Mauser, or 7.62x54r, is an excellent choice. And will damn near take someone’s arm, head, or leg off. DAMN NEAR.
Both of those rounds are readily available in spicy, extra spicy, and steel core. The steel core will stop a vehicle about as fast as hitting the brakes.

If you use 9mm, 5.56, or 7.62×39 and ditch that weapon and ammo. But the police end up at your door, and you have a weapon in one of those calibers with a different ammo type of the same caliber… guess what? You are gonna sit in jail until someone gets the balls to bust you out the hard way. And that will require an entire platoon of men with $15,000 in cutting torches and demo tools like a chop saw, mauls, and breaker bars. It’s a 12 hour Op easy. I have demo’d prisons that were locked up when they abandoned the family to prevent kids from playing in the area. It took an entire day to set up the equipment and check out maps. And another whole day on the tools to get to the center. Cutting the minimum amount of doors. Stainless steel is the standard now, and cutting torches don’t work on stainless steel. Only an Aluminum Oxide fibered reinforced blade that cuts like thermite will open those doors up.

Best of luck my friend. This isn’t gonna be easy.

  4. Herschel Smith September 11, 2020 at 11:18

An arsonist should be considered the same thing as pointing a weapon. It’s the use of deadly force. It’s even worse than that in a way. A bullet will travel in a trajectory, notwithstanding ricochet. A fire can spread isotropically from a point source, with the wind, or in any direction where there is fuel, heat and O2. It affects not just the intended target, but can affect others as well. Fire is one of the areas where engineering has decreased the threat by orders of magnitude (fire engineering features such as suppression systems, changes in construction mtl’s, localized response training, etc.). Awful fires are almost a thing of the past compared to a century ago. Except for intentional fires, which are dangerous, unpredictable, and far-reaching in span and scope.

    • Matt Bracken September 11, 2020 at 13:36

There should be a code word for arson fires having been set during a riot, perhaps by folks listening to police or fire dept scanners, or the word coming from friendly LE contacts, or by eyeballs on the scene. But once a fire is set by the ABR mob, and the code word goes out, anti-arson RUF/ROE should go into effect. The next ABR terrorist seen preparing an incendiary should be taken under fire by anybody capable of doing so. Depending on the range and backstop, this might mean #4 turkey shot would do the job effectively.

      • Johnny Paratrooper September 16, 2020 at 11:42

If you go to your local police department, and politely ask for a local police codes, operations manual, they will gladly provide one for you.
Same with the fire department. The old “I’m teaching the kids some basic skills on a radio, and we are headed on a camping trip, I would like to keep them occupied with something other than gameboy” works every time.
        Literally EVERY time.

        • Whydah September 19, 2020 at 16:56

After 9/11, then President Bush penned authorization for the National Incident Management System (NIMS). This document governed all emergency response agencies at all levels to ‘deep six’ codes. All radio communication was to be in “plain language” for the purpose of enhancing communications between unlike agencies working together during an emergency incident.

  6. Matt September 11, 2020 at 12:34

Another former operator, in another venue, has mention doing the same as Mr. Bracken mentions above. He stated that the sentries, or the visible defense line, keep their weapons slung and in plain sight at all times. The guardian angels elsewhere are the ones who take care of what needs to be done.

The visible defenders are obviously not involved nor threatening. Any video would show that. What happens elsewhere is not their doing nor are they knowledgeable of it.

    Matt (not Matt B.)

    • Matt Bracken September 11, 2020 at 13:38

One could even imagine a bait operation with no visible sentries at all, if an ABR arson riot was anticipated or in progress.

      • Curious Passerby September 12, 2020 at 09:38

        Excellent ideas all around.
I think the key is not to be there. Don’t fight and die for a quick stop or a used car lot. You vs thousands of communist rioters Plus the local govt, local cops, state govt, media, etc is not a winning combination.
You suckering them into a target off the main drag, like a car with Trump stickers on it, while you’re a few hundred yards away is a better deal.

  7. Ned2 September 11, 2020 at 12:43

    Shoot.
    Skedaddle.
    Shut up.

We all know the areas in our town where we can conceal easily and disappear just as easily.
One sniper causes more fear than a platoon, and has a longer lasting effect.

    • Matt Bracken September 11, 2020 at 13:40

And the local man knows all the angles and potential lanes of fire better than anyone from outside. Marksmen will be a huge force multiplier once anti-arsonist ROE are in effect.

    • Johnny Paratrooper September 16, 2020 at 11:39

And they certainly don’t have thermal drones and helicopters watching. So you will get away just fine once the leaves drop from the trees. [Heavy Sarcasm]

This is gonna be a lot harder than we realize. It’s easy to Clack Clack and hope they don’t come back. Getting away is the real trouble.

  9. J.R. Snook September 11, 2020 at 14:04

I suspect a few more Kenosha kid events will take place, and these individuals will be arrested and put on trial. If we can’t sleep peacefully at night for the fear of our lives being taken, why should the DAs and Police Chiefs? You get my drift. Back in the Colonial days, the Patriots seemed to have more balls to tar and feather someone to send a message. Maybe it’s time we use something a bit stronger than tar. Lastly, be prepared to jail break a teammate out of the pokey; this will help raise moral and get fighters back into the game. If you want to win, don’t play fair; cause your enemy certainly isn’t.

  10. Scurvy September 11, 2020 at 16:07

It looks like fire will be one of their weapons of choice. So If the need arises for you to post up on a friend’s business plan accordingly. Nomex gloves and a 5 pound fire extinguisher, not for putting the building out but to put your buddy out before the flames take hold in flesh. Stop, Drop and Roll are ok but when flammable liquids are involved dry chemical is better.

    Good luck to everyone.

    • Johnny Paratrooper September 16, 2020 at 11:37

A bucket with water and sheets works as well. Smothering the fire and drawing heat from the affected area. Plus, you should already have this prepped incase of a heat casualty. So you can carry less gear, and have more options. Fire extinguishers are one time use. Once the seal is broken, they slowly leak. Save the ABC Extinguishers for your car, or house, or your wife.

If I was a heat casualty and somebody hose’d me down with some ABC extinguisher, I would be laughing pretty hard, grateful, but be equally disappointed because there is a cheaper, reusable alternative.

  11. Chris September 11, 2020 at 18:44

The odds of being directly involved are very small, but there is a somewhat larger chance of being involved indirectly. You might be called to be on a jury trying any defender being pursued by a Soros-type prosecutor. That would be the time to remember jury nullification. “Not guilty of anything in any way,” and don’t let some commie jury foreman pressure you to change that vote.

    • boss21 September 13, 2020 at 15:33

That’s right. Too many ‘try to get out of jury duty’ because work etc. Way more important than ‘voting’ LOL..
We are about to move into a high tech version of the ‘Troubles’ in Ireland. I grew up there and thought I understood it. I didn’t know anything until I read about Brigadier Kitson and his ingenious puppeteering of all sides. Cops planting contraband in trunks at checkpoints put a-lot of guys away. Every dirty trick (and some new ones) will be used in this fracas.
Losing may be worse than war, but being played has to be the worst thing.
Points made above are tactically useful but maybe the best strategy short term is to let these freaks burn, loot and murder the Blue Areas in full view of the Normies.
If you and yours are threatened directly fire away but I have no sympathy for people (except children) in these areas since they most likely are leftists anyway.
If war is to be waged it must be WAR, not just plinking dirtbags.

    • Johnny Paratrooper September 16, 2020 at 11:46

You aren’t going to get a jury of your peers. You will get a special indictment, with a grand jury. And as soon as they use the word “Terrorist” you get a WHOLE separate set of charges. And you get to talk to the FBI, DHS, and ATF.

Once my friends got into a bar fight, and simply because ONE witness described their buzz cut hair as “Skinhead” that initiated the FBI hate crimes division to knock on my apartment door with about 20 officers from 5 different departments. My apartment was completely surrounded. They were literally hiding in the trees.

Good luck… You sound like a good dude, but I don’t think you understand how this is gonna play out.

  12. Richard Roma September 11, 2020 at 19:47

The citizens who fired on rioters in Schellsburg PA did exactly this and we’re never identified or caught IIRC. Also, the news story was a lie as usual- upon checking the local PA news it was a two way gunfight with BLM exchanging fire with militia, not just being randomly shot at.

  13. Michael September 11, 2020 at 20:02

With all the intelligent folks here why is the only effective response is to shoot them in full view of dozens of HD I-Phones and such?

EVERY TIME I watch a news reports there are dozens of Antifa people panning them around. WONDER WHY?

I tried my wife’s low end non special non I-phone to “see” what all those I-Phone holding Antifa could see. In any light I could use with my own eyes I could get pictures of folks in the shadows from anywhere LINE OF SIGHT I could find in my town. I took those pictures to my computer and was amazed just how well I could work those images to SEE so much more than my eyes even suspected.

Antifa are NOT Stupid, they are quite techie. I understand that you can LIVESTREAM your I-phone to someone’s monitor for Real Time Evaluation. They use the modern version of Battle Flags (Bubble Light, Bugles, etc.) and Such to direct their troops to fight “Nazis”. They are using DRONES for Real Time Battlefield scouting. DO you THINK they *Might* be checking likely places say a “Sniper” might deploy?

Their scouting forces and flankers HAVE researched the battle area several DAYS in advance. Since they look a lot like scruffy skateboarders or bicyclists they blend in well. So your “Home Field Advantage *might* not be quite so good? Clearly these Ex-Cons and street nasties have been getting Professional Level Training AND they are in Excellent Meth Enhanced Physical Shape like some of Hitler’s SS. Non lethal wounds and hand to hand combat is likely NOT to be effective in stopping them.

This is in ADDITION to the Facts that the Police are PROTECTING them. Oh and BTW incase you missed it the DA’s are Actively Searching the Social Media (Like ah American Partisan?) after they ARREST you for information useful for the Court Case Against you. It was on Main Stream Media that Kenosha Kyle’s social media was being searched for information by the police. Maybe “Other Allies?” or just damning posts to hang you with?

Thus I will not share my tactical ideas and strongly suggest you stop telling the Antifa data collectors READING American Partisan your plans. Just reading that article on how Antifa chased and beat up those two ex-military guys I saw several nasty ways I could use their own tactics for a “exciting evening” for them. None of them involved a trigger being pulled. None of them involved my person being in sight of an I-Phone or Drone.

I suggest you park those Black Rifles for a moment, pretend you don’t have them and THEN read that article again and say how could I do better with out a firearm? A lot of evil thoughts are likely to show up.

Then SHARE them ONLY with those you trust with your Life and Freedom BECAUSE when it’s Lawfare time or Action Time that’s what is going down, THAT is a piss poor time to discover they will Roll Over ON you.

The Traitors in our Deep State-Socialist-Democrat government are NOT afraid of 10K law abiding Gun Holders peacefully demonstrating at Richmond VA. That was a Surveillance Christmas GIFT for them. All those HD camera pictures of you and your tactical toys, all those cell phones (off or not no matter to stingray) phone numbers you call, networking, your HOME Address from the cell phone bills etc.

They are terrified of every state in our Republic having a few Evil Minded, Hard Hearted, tight small groups who DON’T post on social media, don’t bring that Government Approved Spy Device the Cell Phone (Off or not not matter as they can turn it ON and listen in IF you a person of Interest) to your planning, scouting and actions.

We MAY Lose the Election Battle to Deep State actions and Voter Fraud but remember the Rebels of the American Revolution lost many battles during the HARD Long 7 Years of the Revolution. They stayed alive and developed tactics to overcome the Best Military of the Known World of that time (with the aid of the French).

News Flash Mad Dog Mathis *might* be the Deep States “Benedict Arnold”. So there ARE dangerous Military sorts that are Anti-Trump enough to side with the “Resistance”. It might not all be “Soyboys” in this fight. If they WIN Mad Dog is a George Washington level HERO. I wish I was wrong but I am concerned about his many public Trump Disorder Syndrome statements he has made over the past two years.
