Election Day: D-Minus 14 Days and Counting

As you could guess from the title, there are now only 14 days until Election Day. While we may all have our theories about what may transpire on November 3rd and the days that follow, I think every scenario we can envision will be chock full of chaos and civil unrest. The America that used to exist is gone, and it is not coming back. We are living without the rule of law and we are faced with an elitist and technocratic enemy that knows only self importance and self serving ideals. They don’t care about you, or me, or any of us. They only care about maintain power beneath a thin veneer that parades itself as the Constitutional Republic that used to exist. Knowing that the other side wants to see you cancelled, arrested, or dead, I ask you this:

What are you doing over the next 14 days to get ready for what is coming?

Here is my personal list:

  • PT every single day. This includes both rucking and strength training.
  • Assisting with NC Scout’s Scout Course in Tennessee
  • Confirming zeroes on all of my rifles, and loading all available magazines
  • Inventorying medical supplies
  • Making sure all communication devices are charged and programmed.
  • Making sure all gas cans are topped off and stored
  • Inventorying food stores and making last minute additions.

So now I pose the question to you, the readership:

What are you doing over the next 14 days to get ready for what is coming?

Without destroying OPSEC, I want you to sound off in the comments. Your preparations may inspire others to do the same or serve as a reminder for someone who might have otherwise forgotten to do something.

    Loading all mags
    Getting my baelfangs figured out
Getting my KSG filled 25 aguila minis
Buying more ammo if opportunity arises
    Water
    Food

But I haven’t given up yet. DT can still win this and I think LE will put the shit down. That would be ideal. The initial Civil unrest doesn’t bother me. It’s if the left wins or cheats it’s way in.

Got a question for you fellers. I have wondered about this for some time. DT knows he’s going to suffer as much as we will. He will no doubt leave the country. They will confiscate everything he owns. Do you see him pulling a coup of his own? Don’t want to give OPSEC away but wondered about Erik Prince. We’re going to need a leader. I know we all love the Constitution but the longer we wait to fight the more difficult this becomes.

      Um, Luke?

There is no ‘national’ leader. Erik Prince is working with the Chinese government to “secure” “resources” in Africa. He’s not on your team – unless you’re a Fed.

This place (United States) is half a continent, and has multiple giant mountain ranges, deserts, plains, and rivers dividing people by geography. It’s 350MM people – not some eastern European homogenous people/nation of 4MM you can organize centrally.

You are on your own, man. Get some local friends. Keep your mouth shut about whatever you plan to do. Don’t be stupid.

Same. More food, more water, checking guns and Ammo. Training most days! Adding bandaids, tourniquets- more medical supplies.

Good advice that applies to all

I swear Im prepped to death but all those things mentioned are worth a relook. There are many “hard goods” mentioned but getting your “soft goods” in order is essential. Im talking about getting some time on the field, not as a group or neighbor leader on the range, but taking a good class where you can focus on yourself rather than “mother henning” the crowd.
We just got back from Scouts carbine class and it was refreshing not to have to do anything but follow instruction……and drink a beverage or two(afterwards). Starting with basic drills all the way through to a night shoot with NVG and thermal was a welcome change to my normal range time. Did I mention the beverages and all the great company of the like minded folks that also saw the need. I know this is a countdown post but the world will continue spinning after November Christ willing. Form up, train up, and always consider the preciousness of others. The world would be a better place if this was the norm.

Expect the day of the election to have power outages, cell towers going down, Internet kill switches activated, & even bomb threats at pole places to deter voters from casting votes on Election Day. Specially in battle ground states it will be worse with voter intimidation. Similar to the ‘Black Panthers’ in 2012 walking around poles places in Philly. Expect Antifa & Revcom to do the same!

My list is similar to the one above. Top priorities are programming radios and handing them out to the neighborhood guys, finish building a barrel stove for emergency heat if the nat gas lines go down, getting some more food when I get paid on Friday. Rifles were zeroed last month but it doesn’t hurt to check them again.

My personal belief is we won’t see widespread chaos until 2-3 days after the election. I think Trump wins on election night, but once the mail-in ballots (both real and fraudulent) start rolling in Biden takes the lead. THEN all hell breaks loose.

I agree… they’ll need to see where they have to apply their skills in voting fraud.

Here is some of the stuff I’ve been working on. I’m also approaching this with credit / leverage in mind. My philosophy is that if the world goes to shit, credit collections is going to be the last thing we are worried about. If the world continues to limp on like it does, short of losing my job, the debt will be paid off no problem.

Cross train on the SOPs with your spouse and older children that are mature enough for the subject and responsibility. This is honestly a gap that I’m really bad about, and I’m sure many of you are as well. Everybody’s plans are very thorough and well thought out…and still probably…up in their head only (usually). Does your spouse know how to use the fire extinguisher? Start the generator? Retrieve the blow out kit and apply a tourniquet? Hitch the trailer to the car? Grab the children and her gun and rally at your safe room / safe spot in the house?
Medical supply inventory and replenishment. Simple stuff like bandages, ointment, medication on up to quick clot and doubling the tourniquet supply. Visit North American Rescue and fill some of those holes you have been delaying on.
Additional fire extinguisher purchases, including a re-usable water 2.5 gallon extinguisher. I’d say have at least two extinguishers per adult in your family / group. Children 10+ can also handle smaller extinguishers (the 2.5 lb ones) without a problem. Update your fire evacuation plan, review and run it with the family, and also run the fire action plan and have everyone grab an extinguisher and run to the training fire scene.
Additional water storage in easily portable 1 gallon, 5 gallon, 7 gallon containers. Think of this as your ‘bug out’ water supply that can be loaded in your car / trailer.
    Solar panel and battery assembly.
Haul the generator out of storage and make sure to do a test run. I haven’t run mine since the beginning of the pandemic. When you do it, train your spouse or oldest child on how to do this as well.
Gear shake-out and interoperability test. If you aren’t already training in all of your gear, you should put EVERYTHING on and load it up (including whatever base layers, clothing, jackets, hats, etc.). Plate carrier and/or LBE, pouches configured and fully loaded with magazines and gear, water in the bladder, backpack on the back, rifle on the sling, etc. etc. If you can’t get outside and patrol, ‘patrol’ around your house – up your stairs, down your stairs, in your basement. It sounds goofy as hell, but you won’t realize if your gear works together seamlessly until you are actually doing it live. From there, clear your house in your gear. Access your first aid kid and apply a tourniquet. When practicing with a TQ, try it each time on each of your different limbs – kinda awkward using your non-dominate hand, huh?
Make sure all of your radios are programmed to the same frequencies, and do some short range radio tests to evaluate range and signal strength. Make sure they are all fully charged. Chirp is great but also a bit of a process pain in the ass to learn, so make sure you get that squared away now.
Food stock up and top off. Early in the pandemic, my wife and I had a mindset of “What if this is the last time I can go to the store for 6 months?” Honestly as this pandemic has continued (and I’ve already contracted COVID and recovered from it, thereby lowering our view of how serious this thing is), we have lost some of that sense of urgency when we shop. It’s a good time to re-adopt that mindset and think both short and long term.

All of the above addressed (last addition was fuel stabilizer for gas/diesel stocks)
What is left undone is forming of neighborhood watch, an extremely critical step as I live in an elongated, narrow valley neighborhood in a Ponderosa pine forest only 8 fairly easy walking miles from the edge of a largely “Progressive” town of 75,000.
    Why the holdup?
Our neighbors are a mix of informed and smart people alongside of willfully ignorant and cowardly. Included are some self-reliant and many clueless as to the precarious nature of their “on time delivery”, always available supply sources.
Were we to experience any serious disruption of, oh… say grid electricity, the Hell that would soon come down on them would naturally have them in dire straits and viewing my preparations as “community” property. My specifics are not common knowledge but people like me can’t hide the fact that they never really quit the Boy Scouts. Ie: the existence of a welder/generator I’ve used alongside large propane fuel storage.
So you see, the people who would be so shocked to find that being “my brother’s keeper” doesn’t translate into supporting their foolishness , where my family’s safety (and longevity) are concerned are maybe not so inclined to embrace meeting difficulties they won’t/can’t even acknowledge are very real possibilities.
Any thoughts on timing and presentation.of a “watch and response” organisation would be very much appreciated. I did purchase Hogwood’s “Survival Group Handbook” but it doesn’t help where its organization assumes that a nucleus of the willing already exists at hand.
Specifically, what to do with/about deniers and other forms of dead weight and liability?

    We’re making family plans.

Range cards and firing positions are part of the plans.

We’ve got food, supplies, and friends, but this is the first time the spousal-unit is on board for potential violence preparation.

Enjoying the show, spending money and smiling and being kind to everyone. Waiting to vote. Not worried about what is coming as there is nothing we can do about it. Still prepping up and hoping to reach my goal soon.

In addition to most of the things mentioned above, we planted a fall garden crop a couple months ago.

Getting more repair gear for home and allies. When trouble occurs you and your home will ne involved. It’s not a Field Training Exercise, it’s not a all expenses paid trip to some third world battleground with lots of brown people around.

It’s at 123 Main Street Your Town Your Stare USA.

I call this prep the Chaos Kit. It’s mentioned in the comments in the 7 pillars of a color revolution part 2 so I don’t repeat it here.

Chaos kits include doing training drills with your family as so you have preplanned defensive responses and RALLY Points if you and your are driven from your home by fire and such.

Two weeks until the festivities start, already “Night Letters” threatening Trump supporters are showing up. They are fighting tooth and nail to suppress the Trump Supporters. We ARE living in the low level terrorism of a CIA Color Revolution against a sitting President.

    – Still waiting on a new AR build from the local gunsmith, should be done this week or next.
    – Setting up a new shack for my radio gear. This has been in the works for some time and is unrelated to the election. Just a happy coincidence.
    – We exercise the genset regularly, so that’s good to go.
    – Range cards for our place have been done for some time, need to finish the ones for the neighborhood.
    – Our new store house is done and supplies reorganized. We’ve got several months worth of regular food and over a years worth of long-term storage stuff (we are big fans of the LDS stores btw).

    – One thing I realized we hadn’t done is update our family emergency plan. Going over that now, especially evac routes and rally points. Comms plan is pretty solid.

    – On a daily basis we just make sure the fuel tanks are topped off on the vics, etc.

      AWESOME JOB LKS!

Yes, I am also a big fan of the LDS Stores/warehouses.

I am sure you already have done this so this suggestion is for others. Put your heirloom seed order in today. DO NOT WAIT. I use https://www.rareseeds.com/ among a few other local companies.

      73 & God Bless

Eh,bought another genny/more treated PSI fuel/more cans/rice ect. though damn, have a lot/ worked me tools out well, best I can hope for/broke out bow and crossbow just for S&G’s/rechecked med supplies, feel good there/ah/list is endless!

Honestly,I am done with the prepping stuff ect. That said, have a few drop offs left to friends who are economically challenged, once that is done will ride out the future and what it holds.

Honestly, just hope all is for naught and do not become the monster I so rightfully despise,if I do hope someone takes me out humanely.

I will say given our future I am not a happy camper but will do what I can.
