I just put the Primary Arms 3X ACSS on a Blackout gun. I’ve only run about 100 rounds behind it, but I like it better than an ACOG. I’ve got an ACOG on a 556 gun. The Primary Arms product sit a little higher, and the big opening at the rear seems to provide for faster target acquisition. It is heavy. 12 oz. But so far I’m really impressed. Plus it’s about 1/4 the price of an ACOG.

    I love the ACSS reticle. But if had to describe an ACOG in one word it would be “slow”. But that just me. The Primary Arms product fixes that. If there anybody out there that isn’t familiar with that reticle I stumbled on this video a while back.

  I put a 3x ACSS on my Mk47 Mutant. I agree, it is faster. The adjustable diopter especially assists by tuning the eye relief to your eyes so you naturally focus on the reticle.

I was planning on buying an AR for myself. I’ve got a WASR and the wife has an AR. Might have to buy a Galil instead and stick a Primary Arms sight on it. Thanks! Great video!
