Why, oh WHY.. in the name of all that is Holy, WHY would I want to order a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g from Amazon??????? Why enrich the enemy?????
Because the commissions cover our hosting cost.
Don’t like it? Email me and you can foot the bill.
In all seriousness, I would be willing to make a large donation to help cover that gap. I did already at Survival Blog. I think I’m not alone….
Offer up the challenge and see what comes.
I cancelled my Amazon account also last month and I know many others did.
Much appreciated.
I’m also aware of what other sites “claim”, but ask yourself why he’s still publishing books through amazon.
I’d love to send you funds directly to help with hosting costs. I get a lot of good, valuable information and skill-building exercises from AP. Please e-mail me if this is a possibility.
You’ve got my email.
Ha ha ha lol….it doesnt matter where weapons and supplies come from, it matters where they are going.
Damn right.
I have the same sentiments. My justification is that 1) It maximizes the possibility that our readers will purchase valuable texts. 2) Amazon links to many subcontractors, who are merely caught in the corporate crossfire. 3) In a guerrilla war, by definition your enemy gets weaker as you get stronger; Some battles are more decisive than others. 4) They return some of the commission back to us.
Every reader has the ability to source these texts elsewhere if they please. Personally, I can’t drive by a local surplus shop without sticking my head in and taking a look. That’s my primary method of finding great gear and military literature.
Nice review of these topics. Select one each training day for rehearsals , add some patrolling IADs hasty ambush, clear a danger area, etc. Build a solid training schedule. Been a long time since Recondo school but remember it well. Great work my friends
