I had a really nice space blanket–with the OD green layer on one side. Rats chewed it to hell when my gear was in storage. Does anybody still sell them?

Good video! I enjoy survival perspectives from other crisis/long term disaster “Preppers”. I hold similar opinions on the material shared in the video. My family changed from Bug Out Bags to Get Home Bags with the realization that no one could carry the heavier pack for very long. Consequently, our packs don’t contain so many items of clothing. I like the idea of a folding saw! The Get Home Bags that I built have either a sawback machete or hatchet. I do carry a Huntsman Swiss Army Knife and multi-tool with saw blades, but they are much smaller. We use SOL Bivvys and All Weather Blankets instead of a larger, heavier sleeping bag. Depending on the security of your cache locations, weapons should be part of your stash. For versatility purposes, I am in favor of a combination large and small calibers AR7+Judge or 10/22 Takedown+GP100.
