The Department of Justice (Department) proposes amending Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) regulations to provide new regulatory definitions of “firearm frame or receiver” and “frame or receiver” because the prior regulations failed to capture the full meaning of those terms. The Department also proposes amending ATF’s definitions of “firearm”and “gunsmith” to clarify the meaning of those terms, and to provide definitions of terms such as “complete weapon,” “complete muffler or silencer device,” “privately made firearm,” and “readily” for purposes of clarity given advancements in firearms technology. Further, the Department proposes amendments to ATF’s regulations on marking and record keeping that are necessary to implement these new or amended definitions.”
Right.
Waiting on the STRONG. RESPONSE. from Wayne LaPierre.

Nothing unexpected here… totalitarians gotta do what totalitarians do. Rendering a population defenseless is _always_ a priority.
If they reduce us all to owning nothing but smooth bore muskets… and we still wanted to resist with them? They’d declare flints to be a terrorist mineral and control its sale.
I doubt anyone knows just where on the map our next Concord bridge is located.
But I’ll wager a good many believe it’s out there, awaiting its date with history.

Interestingly, The gun laws around the world define different parts of the “Weapon” as the registered firearm. I assume this is to prevent people from sourcing everything they need off the books. This might be a means to close down the shipment of uppers outside of the country. The upper is the hardest part to manufacture; Followed by the trigger group and the rear sight. Which are, historically, the most expensive pieces of hardware on the firearm to manufacture.

Shuttering the gun business was always Biden’s attack vector. He can’t truly start on us till he defunds local police. Then replaces them with a new federal wokeforce. And hands them the, “law”, to go enforce. I’m just hoping he gives them a very bold insignia to wear. (easy to spot).

They’re pulling a really shady move with AR uppers in Canada currently as well.
Up there they just prohib’d a massive list of rifles. They are halfway through a 2 year moratorium and have to hand em all in one year from now.
On AR’s up there the lower is the registered part. They also just classified the upper as prohibited and have to hand them in as well, yet they all have no serial numbers.
Relative up north is keeping me in the loop.
I sure as hell hope no one hands anything in. When they force hand in, it’s probably time to use em.
(((They))) confiscate guns > next is planned genocide.

Scout, if you’re waiting for a strong response from Wayne the Drain (your bank account), they’ll be having snowball fights in Hell sooner.

Interesting that they are trying this given the record firearms sales over the past year.
