I found this very useful and extremely informative. Thanks!

So many scenarios of SHTF it’s hard to plan for them all. I can see it really going to hell in what Bracken calls the blue hives and it could be contained I suppose. Most like it will be in the suburbs of those hives. I don’t foresee the left’s paramilitary steering clear of them much longer. So much is riding on Law Enforcement and to be honest if this is the path we are going down, all indicators are pointing that direction, then they need to develop a case of extended blu-flu. If you are a cop wth are you even doing working in these Marxist zones?
With a severe LE shortage things will escalate pretty quick. If this happens in a handful of cities it can probably be contained by The Guard and military but if it goes widespread it will devolve quickly. Supplies will dry up quick and then the rats will leave the city and come further into areas where they will meet resistance. It’s probably helpful to know some local LE. Have heard of neighborhood defense plan and it makes sense. However in a book by James Wesley Rawls (I think) an entire county and cities were blockaded from outsiders. I am quite familiar with this area and it makes a lot of sense. Most of the people in this area would be for it but I suspect you would have some big mouth detractors. They better come to terms with the fact that this is no longer a democracy.
If it gets really bad I am going to my brothers who has some land and very spread out but like minded neighbors. Try and protect my family and outlast the massive bloodletting over the next couple years. Supplies will be essential because once we are in FUBAR land every trip to try and retrieve something of necessity will be extremely dangerous. I held out a small glimmer of hope that maybe things would settle down after the JB puppet regime was installed. There were some signs. But I also noted the level of insanity unleashed in 2020 is hard to bottle back up. It seems we’re going full out Clown World.

    • NC Scout April 19, 2021 at 12:50

Most of the “shtf” scenarios are made up by people who only read about it in books.

      • Luke April 19, 2021 at 13:12

Well let me ask you, if the SHTF how bad do you think it will get? Do you imagine a lot more violence but mostly contained but most of our institutions and infrastructure still function? Or do you see a complete societal collapse or FUBAR? I can see the latter happening quick when the men who fix the power grid, sanitize the water, drive trucks, are too frightened to leave their homes mostly for the sake of their family.

        • NC Scout April 19, 2021 at 13:31

First of all, let’s take a step back. I live in reality. The “shit” has already hit the fan.
How well do you know your neighbors? That’s a place to start. Second, can you prepare the next seven days’ meals off grid? Yes or no?
Here’s the deal: even in declared warzones, of which I spent much of my adult life in, people continued to exist. Yeah, I know, crazy as hell. The world still turns. One way or another. They still eat, sleep, fuck, have babies, and even party.
If you’re living in a place you have zero generational ties, do not know your neighbors, and have no influence over any of the local decision making, like most of suburbanite America, you’ve already fucked up. If your plan is to head out with bro, why ain’t you there now? Humans are pack animals by nature (we call these families, extended families and tribes) and ‘modern living’ has done much to ruin this reality in the US. Fun fact, it exists everywhere else. And it allows societies to endure. They typically don’t kill off useful people, either.
So, what “I see” is the street shit continuing to run unabated becasue Boomers let them get away with it until now. In the absence of order, order restores itself. And from there it looks something like the Spanish Civil War. But with nuclear weapons up for grabs.

My brother has a family I don’t. I’m in Florida too and we have a pretty good governor who just signed some pretty favorable (for good citizens) legislation to deter rioting. Not that I was ever scared of a roadblock as I had no intentions on stopping. I live in a home by myself and neighbors are all cool. They’re all similar mindset. Couple former military guys all have plenty of guns and ammo.
lol if blantifa ever find there way into this community we got big problems. It’s just not likely to ever happen. The bro I’m talking about is only a 10 minute drive and he ain’t gonna want me moving in until the shooting starts I am pretty certain of that. My little community here surrounds this little lake and the soil would be perfect for growing food. But that my friend is the problem, this little thing called food. I have about 6 months worth which may sustain me long enough to get crops growing. And as like minded as my neighbors are I am skeptical they have enough to last more than a couple weeks.
Florida and similar states have the best chance to get thru this I am guessing. I would stay here most likely and work with my neighbors in most circumstances except for FUBAR then I am grabbing my stuff and heading to my brothers and try and try the outlast strategy. That’s if supply chains are completely shut down and the entire system collapses. A lot of people can’t even or won’t entertain the thought of that even being a possibility. I however think it is indeed very possible given the right fuel. You look at the Great Depression and try to imagine something like that happening in today’s time. I’m not confident we will remain civil for very long but I am a pessimist.

          • NC Scout April 19, 2021 at 15:42

The Depression was exaggerated, normally by the Democrats and American socialists, to undermine the successes of American Capitalism in post-WWII. Nearly all of the stories were simply a reflection of life prior to WWII.
You’re viewing this through a singular lens. That’s a problem.

The “Blue Hives” aka Cities are also surrounded by the Greater Blue Hive Area.
Which is, normally, as big and up to three times larger than the city itself.
Baltimore only has 700,000 residents. The Greater Baltimore Area has 3.2 million…
Most of Baltimore is fat, old, and sick. If not out right mentally ill and incompetent.
The Greater Baltimore Area is the real danger zone.
Blue Hive is a meaningless term because the people who manage the Blue Hives live about 1-2 away from their “Listed” address. Which is empty except for a sympathetic party member squatter who passes letters like a drop house.
Those addresses are more like a political party palace, or headquarters, than a home.
The blue hive looks bad when the hide half the crime and trash can the other half of offenses.
The Greater Blue Hive Area will only convict you for rape or murder. Everything else is an addiction, mental illness, or covering up of Black or Brown gang and drug activity(To further destroy the white schools and white women).
They are just as violent and dangerous. With less petty crime like shoplifting or broken windows.
I have already lived through the SHTF scenario. And it mostly involves looking out your window, talking to your neighbors, and locking your car door. Basically, it’s like being a small town cop.

  3. MTHead April 19, 2021 at 15:10

As mentioned already. Shit HAS hit the fan. And as typical government you will notice most of the assets are positioned for their protection. 25,000 troops in DC.? Those assets will need supplies. Assessing your position as a target the military will even be bother with. Will probably be dealing with those two things as far as large unit actions go.
I feel most of as will be on our own, fending as best one can. Trying to look to big to fuck with. And to poor to try and steal from. Just my .02. I think it will mostly be local, small unit stuff. But I’ve been plenty wrong before.

    • NC Scout April 19, 2021 at 15:44

So the thing is, ‘shtf’ is not a finite event. As in, its not an end state.
Reaction and in turn, competent organization is. And until anyone on the Right even begins to address this concept, the tires will simply keep spinning.

  4. DirtNasty April 19, 2021 at 18:43

The more of all this I listen to and learn the harder this seems to be. I comprehend what I hear, but in my mind I start thinking “why bug out all my resources are here? I understand what he is saying about preserving my life and my loved ones! Is it more important to stand on principal to fight and die?” I don’t know how you all do this; because the deeper I go the more I am lost!
Yes all these things are very important to know but is there a easier way I have to ask. All those field manuals alone would take most people (like myself) a half year to read at a speed to comprehend what they are reading and not that fake “speed reading” where you don’t learn anything. Oke now put it into practice!!!!!!……..Ya I don’t know.
I honestly don’t expect an answer because I myself don’t even know what I am trying to ask. Well except this hear me out if you go a moment, I been playing music most of my life and none of to made sense till I learned concepts like “modes, scale and time division” from these things almost all thing could then be further explained. The rest of my studies became almost pointless as all further details pointed back to these things is seemed! So with war, combat and tactics (or whatever you call it) what basic combinations of simple practicable principals are the most fundamental that if a person learned and put into practice they could embed and adapt to almost and circumstance that combat could throw at them? Or is it not so simple?
Lost of good info in this video but I am in the middle of a swampy rabbit hole somewhere. Thanks for complicating my life even more;)

    • Mike April 20, 2021 at 03:04

You’re correct, there are certain fundamentals to firefights that, when learned, can apply to most if not all combat situations. These fundamentals are actually more psychological than physical. I can’t do it justice here, so suffice to say that the following are some key concepts to grasp:
      Violence of Action
      OODA Loop
      Fire superiority/suppression
Fire & Movement and Fire & Maneuver (two different concepts, despite many using these terms interchangeably)
If you want a more thorough grasp of these topics, come to a TL class and I’ll get you squared away.

      • DirtNasty April 20, 2021 at 10:54

Ok great thanks Mike. I will learn these topics you listed. Having a direction is very helpful.

I had always planned to stay put and sustain but his talk gives valid reasons why/when you should shag ass. I honestly had not considered getting caught up in the “wheels of the machine”. Great post and relevant as hell!

A very common fallacy I see coming from “preppers” is the idea that they will grow food using a survival seed kit once SHTF. Luke eluded to it below. Thats a plan to starve to death. Its like saying “I’ll take my gun out of the box and learn to shoot it when a thug kicks my door down.”
If you plan to grow your food after some life altering event, then you should be doing it now while your belly is full- kinda like training. I started building my organic farm during obombas first term and we still have big crop failures all the time. Thankfully I can still go to the store to feed my kids- for now.

    • wwes April 20, 2021 at 07:38

Not to mention that even if you get everything right and have a bumper crop, which is really unlikely if you’ve never grown crops before, you still have a fairly long stretch of time after you plant those seeds before you’re going to get anything edible. Most folks don’t seem to think about that. There is a reason that late winter/early spring has been called the “starving time”
Also, I wonder how many people buying those seeds ever consider whether they will grow in their zone or not, or when to plant them in the spring.

      • Johnny Paratrooper April 20, 2021 at 09:49

Hell, that’s just the beginning. In Maryland you can grow nearly anything without concern for soil fertility or irrigation. The problem is that the birds, deer, rabbits, slugs, crickets, moles, aphids, and grasshoppers will eat every bite of your garden. A few summers ago I woke up to check the garden and grab a fresh tomato and a pepper for an omelet and the entire garden had been consumed and destroyed in a night. It was a considerable sized garden. It produced FAR more food than I could possibly eat.
The damn critters and crawlers will kill you before the enemy does!

        • wwes April 20, 2021 at 10:01

You are definitely correct, bugs and varmints will consume a huge amount of your produce if you don’t know how to control them, and they still will even with control measures sometimes. Also, for the folks that think they will just plant some seeds and eat, they need to think about the 2 legged varmints that will be looking to take said food too. It’s amazing how many folks think that they won’t need to secure their garden along with the rest of their food.
