Too bad we can’t get the nice simple Yotes here!

They only sell those in conflict zones, so…
Probably be available within a year!

Berg, are you making a prediction? So we got us a year before shit in The FUSA goes all Yugoslavia like? I was in BiH for five years and saw the results. I don’t see the FUSA falling and splitting like that. The forces at work in The FUSA are not the same. But if you are correct we will soon learn how it will go.

Yeah Brother, I don’t know-I travel a lot for work and see a lot of places throughout the Midwest, Rockies, and PNW…and I get a bunch of different vibes.

Yes, we can’t have any of the huge range of good diesel cars and trucks used everywhere else. VW tried but got ‘caught’.

There is a chance you can import some of them if they are over 25 years old. Lots of paperwork and it isn’t cheap, but it is doable.

Fucking Toyota’s! I remember my first truck 25 years ago was a Ford Ranger. We’d go up to the woods every weekend. A few of my buds had “rice burners” and bastards would never break down. We would taunt each other but it was always me and my Chevy buddy fixing shit. Now I own a Toyota Avalon and smooth as butter. Not sure how I got suckered into buying that extra warranty.
For my friends: I cannot promise not guarantee you anything. But Toyota has a long history of follow through. I sold most of my stocks and my old man’s on Thursday after we both lost our asses. Being in tech and hyper growth stocks is the antithesis of inflation. Still there’s a couple I kept (larger ones) that have not been hit so drastically since February.
There is one that is highly speculative. I will not let it go and will lose my money until it’s gone. It’s a very small company, very secretive as Toyota has been traditionally. They are partnered with Toyota to bring to life solid state batteries (SSB). I am 99.9% sure the company is ilika. Toyota has multiple patents on SSB at least 5x as much as any other car maker including Tesla. If this technology goes thru the batteries will last a million miles (without replacement) and go 1000+ without a charge which only takes 10 minutes btw.
Research it, if you have a bit of money this could be the equivalent of Bitcoin type growth. I wouldn’t touch Bitcoin with a 10 ft pole. You see Musk backtrack on accepting it as payment. Someone from our government made him an offer he couldn’t refuse I suspect. Anyhow if you invest in ilika you may lose it all. Be prepared for that. But do your research and learn about it. There’s another company with more recognition partnered with Volkswagen called Quantum Scape. That’s more out in the open. But look at Toyota and their history and secrecy. They have a solid track record of coming through on their promises.
I am not an insider and I am giving you my best guess. Like i said be prepared to lose everything you invest in them. But if this new battery technology works it should be a nice payout. Do your research and see what you think. This stock guru Matt McCall calls it the Jesus battery. I have used his clues to decode the company and am sure it’s ilika.
Cheers gents I wish you the best.

“You see Musk backtrack on accepting it as payment…”
Which has been done before. I’d bet that he does this, Bitcoin’s price goes down (it did) and Musk and his friends snap up a ton in the slump. Remember, in that same statement he specifically said he’s not selling his.
I don’t have much, I put $200 in almost two years ago just as a curiosity. I bet it continues to climb.

There’s other big companies flirting with Bitcoin and other cryptos. But looking back at history governments when engaged in massive printing of the national currency get pretty aggressive when it comes to alternatives. FDR made it illegal to transact with gold. You got the guillotine in France if caught.
You can almost see it happening as prices inflate and your home builder (for example) says screw that dollar thing you want to pay me with. In a couple months times it will be worth 25% less to me. Tell you what pay me in Bitcoin instead. This gets amplified and suddenly nobody wants anything to do with the dollar.
This inflation I speak of should have happened a long time ago. Time has a way of revealing things to us and looking back now I think it’s safe to say out Central Banking friends have been manipulating the prices of metals and commodities to make the dollar look stable. There’s an obvious reason for that ,when the money goes, it all goes. SHTF WROL FUBAR time.

Another example of thinking outside the box. Light motorized forces operating across continental distances as light cavalry can be very effective.

We had three FJ-40s in the family, one with a small block Chevy engine and TH400 trans. Lots of fun.
And they would go anywhere we wanted to go.
Wish I still had my 72.
