Welcome to the virtual Green Dragon Tavern! We discuss dehydration in the field, are joined by a Canadian caller for their perspective from the Great White North, investing in precious metals and bartering during SHTF scenarios or a potential dollar collapse, ammunition and why you might wanna hold off on the panic buying after the ATF’s convoluted ruling on AR pistol braces.

Thats a handy guide, thanks.
I have no .mil background, but as a builder I’ve seen plenty of “macho” dudes get heat injuries- myself included. Most guys in construction will avoid admitting they’re in pain. I had a big guy go down hard from heat stroke on a Dunkin Donuts build. After framing for a week in 90*+ heat with no clouds- bubba was done. Most of us had blisters on our arms and necks by the end of the week. Gotta suck it up and get the job done tho.
remember once a heat casualty you are higher risk for it to happen again
“It’s easy to be hard, it’s hard to be smart….” Major Ezell, TBS Echo Company CO, 1990… That and discussing what he wore in the field, “when I drop trou, that is all I drop”. About all I can recall him saying from back in the day when I was a shiny brand new 2nd Lt of Marines.
I thought about this as the first part of the pod cast was playing. The 2nd quote has literally nothing to do with the discussion, but I always thought it was funny as hell.
