Please. Friendly advice. Stop posting pics of guys posing in camo with firearms. And faces in the open for the whole world to see. Those are the pics the feds are going to use against you when they frame you for an “insurrection”.

    • KOBK July 30, 2021 at 15:30

While I agree we shouldn’t just hand it to them, they have a picture of your face and a profile as well.
      We all know this.
When it comes right down to it, you’re either going to fight or you’re not.

      • spaceman July 30, 2021 at 19:44

        simple as that

        • Him July 31, 2021 at 10:05

What would Michael Collins say? What would the French Resistance say? Yes they have my IP address. Yes I’m on their shit lists. They know my name. They know I sit at a keyboard and read. If I put on camo and train with other guys with rifles and post my pic, then my name wouldn’t just be on the list. It would move way up the list.

          • Hawkeye July 31, 2021 at 14:53

There are pictures of me demo-ing my gear on my website, and plenty of other places on the net, and have been for many years. Me using it in training and showing that, is nothing new.

          • KOBK July 31, 2021 at 20:26

I hear ya but often think when you’re on this side of the fence people are often fooling themselves about keeping a little bit more off the radar than the next guy.
You should be damn proud of being way up on the list ! And you are or you wouldn’t be here nor would you have an idea what is going on and training for the festivities.
As NC Scout always says, just don’t do or say really stupid things. But don’t kid yourself about them going to my house before yours or vise-versa because of some false sense of something.
They’re comin’ after ya man. Get over it and get on with it.

    • Ryan July 31, 2021 at 14:28

      Sir,
Alert Plan is a legitimate training company. The mission statement and philosophy stated on the website for the company cites “Times of economic distress, natural disasters, and unlawful violence present significant risks to communities with little infrastructure and external support” as the reasons why it trains people. Of course, you are free to have your opinion, but the company conducts it’s business in the open as everything taught is in accordance with Federal and State laws (respectively).
Additionally, Alert Plan respects individual privacy. In accordance with that, any pictures you see are taken with the permission of all involved. Lastly, while you spend time posting things directing people on what they should do, Alert Plan recognizes people’s ability to choose for themselves.

enjoyed the video John. Appreciate the explanations to the scenarios. It’s not always easy for viewers to understand the little they are seeing.
Which is also good because it’s not as easy to spot the enemy and know what is going on than people think. Too much time at the range shooting at bright white or bright orange targets standing still out in the open is NOT real life.
Video didn’t seem long to me because the content is good. Sure man, bring on another regarding why you choose specific gear for this scenario if you feel up to it. Always learn stuff from your gear videos.
    Thanks for your efforts Sir.

Well said on how hard it is to see stuff. Any hunter in wooded areas knows. Thermal is a huge leg up for anyone strolling in the woods. Reptile vision day or night. One scan versus tedious glassing.

      Thanks.

On a related note, where I live in Appalachiastan there is a metric shit ton of barbed wire (‘barbwahr’ we call it haha).
Can someone whip up a barbed wire crossing doctrine in the rural patrolling environment?

    • NC Scout July 30, 2021 at 20:09

      Lineman’s pliers

    • wwes July 30, 2021 at 21:15

      Fence Pliers work good too

    • A Texan August 1, 2021 at 06:18

It will depend on the threat level and how happy you want your neighbors to be.
No other way to cross barbwire is as fast or safe as cutting the wire. There are step attachments for T-posts but don’t work with other posts. Some can step on and climb over the wire of some new, tight fences but requires several things to go right. Both are as slow as placing blocks on each side of the fence to step on. There is a technique often called “holding the fence open” done with either a buddy or a stick or two, it is also slow and doesn’t work well with tight wire. NONE OF THESE are easy to do when crossing with gear. Doing it with NODs is a good way to lose them. Then factor in the saplings, weeds and tree branchs around fence rows.
Cutting every wire you come upon is obvious and trackable. It will also piss off whoever has to shoo the cows back in and mend the fence (especially if you cut the wire right at the fencepost). Only cutting the top wire or two may reduce wandering cattle while still letting you cross easily. Cattle on the road gets a call to law enforcement who will eventually threaten to fine the owner. Carelessly cutting fence can earn you enemies.
In some states it is a felony to cut fences without permission, so it is another risk to assess during the training phase and increases your profile (negatively) during operations.
You may also want to check what the fence is keeping in/out because you don’t want to unnecessarily deal with certain exotic animals (see: ambulancedriverfiles when-ostriches-attack).

      • wwes August 1, 2021 at 08:33

I have used a strip of heavy canvas wrapped around on of the wires to slide through old loose fences around here. It is slow though, kind of like spreading the wires by hand, and wouldn’t work wearing gear. Depending on ho close the fence is to the ground sometimes you can slide under it as well, but again, wearing gear would make this mostly impossible with the fences most people put up.

Cut a thin slot down the length of two (or more) pieces of either 1-1/4″ or 1-1/2″ PVC Sched 40 pipe, OR a foam “pool noodle” (the ones that are about 3-4″ diameter outside, and have a 1″ or so hole inside). When you get to the barbed wire fence, slip the two PVC pipes (or pool noodle, PVC is easier), over two parallel fence wires and pass between the two pieces of “shielded” fence line. Once the crew is through/over, you can slide them back off and keep walking. If you cut the PVC down to 6-7 feet length, you can make it look more like walking sticks and not that you are carrying a 10″ piece of PVC pipe. Painting them is a good idea as well. If the fence is short enough, just use one on the top line and go over. If you and the crew can deal with a smaller pipe length (4-5 foot), then you can easily have several people attach them to their packs, and get several “passthroughs” going at the same time.
You and the crew pass easily, and not damage the fence at all. If the crew is big enough, have two people make the “passthrough” and have other people help with the bags and “accouterments” so that nobody has to pass through with their packs on, or carrying large “sticks” or antennas.

This is theoretical because I just thought of it, but I imagine one or maybe two ratchet straps could put the squeeze on a fence enough to go under or over it. Would be a small addition to the kit. I’m going to have to try that.

    @ Him,
I call those pics the Boonie Men, the people you want in your squad if you intend to survive.
If you aren’t on a Leviathan gov list by now then you are doing it wrong.
Don’t worry they are busy at woke training struggle session or beating their wives in frustration after the latest entrapment falls apart.
Know your local area in an innate fashion and how to get around away from roads, trails, or any sidewalks.
Let outsiders know to get along if they aren’t from the local area.
City rules don’t apply in Pineland so use them wisely.

On fencr …if your fence is low enough some old carpet type material may be a good method. In Afghan we had some bad dudes climb over hesco and concertina wire. One guy layed over it and let his buddies climb over him. This was captured on video. They didnt survive the diligent Marines on our guaed post that night but they were some bad muther fuckers. Chechen. Scout and JP can likely attest to the ferocity of a force that knows its a one way mission. Some razor wire cuts were nothing to their mission of getting on base.
But long story short u can cut thru which they did not or use a field expedient method of climbing over or under using no leave behind traces of entry

The Army Issue Gerber are made of stainless steel and has a carbide set of teeth bolted in them.
I breached through MANY chainlink fences in Iraq using my trusty Gerber. If you ask your buddy to borrow his Gerber you can use one in each hand, while using gravity to assist opening one and then the other after cutting your rungs.
It can be done in less than a minute. And is fairly quite.
NO WAY was I walking through the hole in those Iraqi fences with the freshly dug up soil. Mark my words, I NEVER ONCE, took the easy way. And I still have all 10 fingers and 10 toes to prove it. I also ALWAYS had my weapon pointed at someone that wasn’t a U.S. Soldier.

It’s good that you guys are training. We’re on the same side. My point is this: there are a lot of people being held in solitary confinement in DC, because they didn’t cover their face on Jan.6. Once they decide to get you, you must not submit to the arrest. It’s over.

    • Red August 3, 2021 at 14:53

Oh yeah, resisting arrest is fine advice. Got anymore pearls of wisdom? This post is attracting some true leading minds. Between ol “aint takin me alive” here and “stop trespassers by shootin propane bottles” up above. Just fantastic.

      • NC Scout August 3, 2021 at 17:29

Hahahhaha I love it! Especially the propane bottles – real nuggets of wisdom.

  9. Surly Belligerent Rabble August 2, 2021 at 14:18

Place some propane tanks by the back gate or fence in case any interlopers come around.
Paint targets on them if need be.

    • Tim August 3, 2021 at 13:47

      Been drinking?

    • Johnny Paratrooper August 3, 2021 at 17:51

Propane bottles don’t explode. They just make a fairly impressive, but relatively uneventful, fireball. You understand that if you have a LOS on your propane bottle, you can simply just shoot your primary target right? Without the Hollywood special effects and burning down your own neighborhood?

      • wwes August 3, 2021 at 19:36

On top of that, they don’t even usually ignite to produce a fireball unless you either have an ignition source right next to them, or are using incendiary ammo. Even tracers don’t ignite them very reliably. It would be a lot more effective to just shoot your target like JP said. We’re not living in Call of Duty or True Lies.
