Pete Hegseth: Afghanistan withdrawal ‘demoralizing’ for Veterans

“Demoralizing” is a poor choice of words.

More like embarrassing because nearly every soldier I know has opened or closed a Forward Operating Base(FOB) or Combat Outpost(COP)

An airfield is even easier.

We, as in anyone E-8/0-4 or below, knows how to correctly do this.

The question is, which geniuses have the Ranger Tabs and Long Tabs and don’t deserve to wear them?

I would guess the same usual suspects (See meme posted below video link)

We knew there was something wrong with that picture from other things, but nailed it with the trigger finger positions. Nice find on the fuller frame picture.

They now have hostages and can execute them on TV every week for the next 3 yr’s . .

Assuming, of course, they are really even killing them. And then tell us it’s our fault because of capitalism and imperialism. Meanwhile, they lay down thousands of miles of railroads for the Belt and Road Initiative. Protected by a triple alliance with Pakistani, Afghani, and Iranian forces.

Kadyrov , the Chechen boss said as much yesterday. https://www.rt.com/russia/532308-kadyrov-us-control-taliban/

What I noticed in the videos today were the very latest in American technology on the abandoned M4’s. Night vision and IR lasers we could only wish to have. It sure is ironic that the .gov has deemed us veterans as “domestic terrorists” and is writing laws every day to strip us of our 2nd amendment rights while arming the taliban with weapons of war. It’s an upside down world.

    • Johnny Paratrooper August 18, 2021 at 15:57

Perhaps the domestic traitors understand who, and what, just defeated them?

Right on cue a ‘former spook’ with a triple barreled name that nobody heard of before is the banner on Zerohedge. The gist – Pentagon are dopes (true enough) and ‘elites are trash ( true) .
Solution? More dirty tricks ‘and vote’. How about we turn this place into a Swiss style fortress and see how the ‘international community’ fares without joe.

They would just hire Latins. Like Blackwater did.

Epic fail on soooo many levels…
I’m waiting for the mortars and rockets to start falling…
They start blowing choppers and planes out of the sky, what exactly, more or less, can or will US .mil do?
    Carpet bomb the place….
Watching Saigon fall all over again, just like i did in 75….

Why they didn’t pull out of Kabul to Bagram is mind blowing. Bagram is in the middle of nowhere. Completely defendable airbase. They created this made for TV crisis for a reason. Don’t let them get inside you head.

      • Mas Casa August 18, 2021 at 19:37

People at work said the same thing about Bagram as you. I was only at Kandahar, so I couldn’t say. CNN interviewed some Taliban last Thursday and the squad leader said the old Taliban was different from the new Taliban in that the new was much more disciplined. The picture highlighting the trigger fingers may bear that out, though obviously there’s more to discipline than just that.

          The small details speak volumes.

The really nasty move for them would be to bottle all our citizens up with our collaborators, and then we you have the 10k Americans and maybe 30k colabs together, let them all through at once. One giant wave.
Now the wire is full of 40k people, at least 30k of them with no loyalty (for every afghan that IS a loyal there is an American traitor in the midst). Then we would have to feed them, house them, haul their shit off — and then deal with the inevitable massacre when we tell 20k of those Afghans they are no-go for a flight.

Depends on your definition of failure. Now the deep state has plausible deniability when their assets start raising hell against Russia and China, or for whatever reason they put them in place for.

Rumble is a enemy fake news media IIA and OIO operation.
It’s part of the Digital Gulag created to quarantine and divid us.
It’s connected to the same people who run Telegram. Which is owned by “Russians” and the servers are based in Qatar.
Stay off of rumble for your own health and safety.

          • Tator August 21, 2021 at 18:03

Rumble should feel right at home then with me using Kaspersky. Not sure how well Kaspersky though gets alone with the 1000s of other sites I look for data on.

I would say another reason for the trigger discipline is; we’ve been training the Afghan Army and Police, which is really just Taliban training camp without the brainwashing. If the ANA weren’t directly in the Taliban, their brother, uncle. Cousin, brother in law, definitely were involved. So to see Taliban like that kind of makes sense after 20(ish) years of training them.
