Radio Contra Episode 75: Over the Horizon Drone Warfare? The Moral Consequences of Leaving Our Allies

Episode 75: As Biden and the State Department brags on ‘Over the Horizon’ capabilities, reports have come in that the so-called retaliatory strike on ISIS-K in fact killed an Afghan interpreter and 10 kids. Its echoes of a movie made back in 2015 called “Eye in the Sky”, which dealt with the intense moral consequences of amoral warfare. Last, I discuss a former CIA Case Officer now declaring that Biden is a hostile actor working against the interests of the US.

    Out of the water
    The cold black Nordic sea
    Risen towards the eternal sky
The land lays open and free
    Up high the Mountains
Where the wind catch its speed and chill
    Snowstorms are born
And rage loud through the valleys and the hills
    Above two Ravens
Messengers of the wise One eyed God
    Who rules this land
Of the strong and the great
    And tall
    Beautiful
    Behold this thy land
    Open and free
This thy home of the brave
    Dark endless forest
Where at the day hides the shadows of the night
    Snowcovered vast lands
As great as the eternal sky
    Now in the midst
Of this wild and this open and free
    He placed my kind
To possess this their land to be
    Above two Ravens
Messengers of the wise one eyed God
    Who ruled this land
Of once strong and once great
    But now
Forgetting to behold this their land
    Once ours (once) free
This my home of once brave
    BATHORY
    “Home Of Once Brave”

Great Episode today! Thought I’d reach out and say “hi!” now that I am back from my “Horn of Africa Safari”. In case anyone out there is planning to book a vacation there, don’t bother unless you enjoy spending time in a landfill. Strange times we are in. Interesting that none of us that actually deployed to Afghanistan are shocked it fell so quickly. What is disturbing is how our “leadership” at the top failed us all so miserably. This was not a tactical withdrawal, or retrograde, it was a surrender and payoff. Who is pulling Joe and his corrupt regime’s strings? Time will tell. Get ready the snowball is rolling down hill. -Blackman, OUT

Interesting channel. The engineering / mechanically inclined especially might be interested, but it has some intel value, as well detailing capabilities. Wasn’t it somewhere in Afghanistan too that they could build small arms, like from scratch, in some village? Or was that Pakistan also? “Pakistani truck” https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC64FbxoHfUWd5hykYk5_BvQ A lot of old school wrench turning.

Since we are posting metal lyrics, Amon Amarth Shield Wall:
They have gathered on these plains
    Prepared to meet our steel
All their efforts are in vain
We will crush them! We will make them kneel!
    War!
Here to conquer! Battle ready! No retreat!
    War!
Here to conquer! Battle ready! No retreat!
    Vikings!
    Raise the shield wall!
    Hold the front line!
    Fight ’til death!
    Vikings!
    Raise the shield wall!
    Hold the front line!
    Fight ’til death!
    Vikings!
    Raise the shield wall!
    Hold the front line!
    Fight ’til death!
    Vikings!
    Raise the shield wall!
    Hold the front line!
    Fight ’til death!
A chain is never stronger than its weakest link
    We’ll hold this wall together
    Our hearts will never sink
    Warfare! Honour! Glory! Death!
    Warfare! Honour! Glory! Death!
Here they come, a vain attack
    Our lines will never break
We’ll stand our ground and send them back
We will put their heads on stakes!
