9 Holes Reviews – “Dragunov” Sniper Rifles (we have at home) – 🇷🇴 Romanian PSL 🇷🇸 Yugo M76 🇮🇶 Iraqi Tabuk Sniper
The PSL kinda sucks in my experience.
The rifle I shot for a range day was nearly 6 inches off of zero @ 25 yards after 1 magazine.
If PSA, or others, are planning on making a PSL clone, they will suffer poor reviews.
Terrible weapon.

Had one many many years ago.
Sold it.
Got a M1A-NM.
Never regretted the trade.
Correct on all points.
The M1A is a great rifle.
It’s an M1 Grand with a DBM.
Strangely, even though I love the Garand I could never feel comfortable with the M1A.
The Russians create good MOA with specific sniper ammo. The SVD when first captured didn’t impress our military because they were using standard Mosin ammo. The Russians have a specific factory that makes only sniper ammo to exacting standards.
Well done criticism of the PSL, however, it would have been helpful if he showed the performance issue differences with the piston swap. Also I understood the issue of reciever cracking was relieved with the lighter ball ammo. I saw that note from 2 seperate sources and a translated memo from the factory. It would have been helpful if the author gave an opinion on why? The PSL is not the BMW of rifles but some of the critiques are in opposition to other reviews which gave solutions and showed the results. “You go to war with what you have not what you want”.
