@NC Scout (also Patriotman and the rest of the excellent commenters here…)

hey, man… i just wanted to comment on your year in review article and missed the comment section being open, so i though i would put it here…

(bc thanks to your efforts, since i’ve been coming here, i’ve realized that a small group of weekend partisans with good commo and single shot rifles can easily take a hardened group of bad*ss heavy hitter-types with the latest greatest rifles/gear with no/sh*tty commo…lol)

first, thank you… this information isn’t mainstream, but i know it’s going to be necessary for the future (just based on history…lol)… unfortunately, i think it might become relevant in the near term…

second, i just wanted to let you know that your efforts are not in vain… i don’t think i’m typical (lol) but i’m much better off now than i was before i found this site (and your brushbeater site…).. for example, i just followed your example for a combat rifle bc i didn’t know, and you do… i followed your thinking and put together basically a general purpose SPR…

here’s a comment response from one of your viewers… (me…lol)

“Keep on your path. Rededicate yourself to your principles. Stay in the fight. Here is my proposed to-do list:

    1-Rededicate yourself to God.”

Done… we found a new church when covid kicked off… and my wife was definitely lead there… it was surreal… but unmistakeable… the experience has only been positive… i encourage everybody to follow this advice…

    “2-Evaluate your food preparedness.”

    done… and ongoing… and don’t forget your water preps…

also, one thing you might do is spin up an article/links on JADAM… especially with the fertilizer shortage coming this spring/summer… (i’d provide a basic link, but i’m not sure about your policy on that…)… it’s not hard to find though…lol… and i think it’s going to help save a lot of folks on our side… if they know about it…

“3-Evaluate your skill set – where are the gaps? the strengths? the areas you can teach others in?”

    ongoing…

    i’m still a pureblood though… so, i’ve got that going for me…which is nice…

“4-Get training. This can be either trips to the range, training with AP authors like NC Scout and MechMedic, or Badlands Fieldcraft, or others like Pat McNamara et al. Hell, take a Stop the Bleed class or a local CERT training course or a CPR/AED course. GET TRAINING.”

    ongoing…

i’m too far away to take any classes with you, but i just recently took a stop the bleed class… i was the only one signed up… and had to drive an hour to get there, but it was well worth it… the instructor was open to traveling, so i’m going to try to set up something locally (with a local group), but haven’t gotten to it yet… been too busy…

also, does your new guide to the baofeng cover some of the same things in the RTO course?… i thought you were going to spin up an online RTO course, but haven’t seen that yet…

“5-Train yourself mentally for what is coming”

    it’s been hard… it’s likely gonna be a sh*t show…

but i’m resolved (somewhat due to this site… it helps me keep perspective…lol…) and somewhat due to the local sh*t show of a school experience that almost killed my kid… (= a bunch of trans cr*p…)… and just as an aside… i don’t know if you are into the whole ‘spiritual warfare in the background’ concept, but i could actually see the demon inside the teacher involved… it was spooky…

i would add one category though…

6-Actively seek out and form a local (informal or formal) ‘group’ with like-minded folks… i’ve done this largely through our church, but also through other local parent/action groups… it’s not really that hard… there are LOTS of folks that are p*ssed off… AND mostly down to earth…

thanks again for this site and all your efforts…

    good luck!
