At least the bias is clear; Russian “claws” etc. I don’t have a dog in that hunt, but it’s of interest to see what countries other than China are making moves in Africa. Also, the gold mine connection was of interest. I’m guessing that tracks with Putin’s stated aim of moving to a gold standard?
The first picture of the three uniformed men beside the parked helicopter is interesting simply in that Wagner is not trying to keep a low profile. Those guys have their faces covered, but it’s not like they’re walking around in civvies with kit on.
What other lessons am I missing in this piece?
Saw that–thanks!
Why is it that the ‘lap poodles’ of NATO (USA/UK) and getting booted out of Africa? Could it be the locals see who the puppet-masters really are and say: “Get out!”
…and, since Mother Nature abhors a vacuum–Wagner Group slides in. Treat people right–they tend to support you; treat people like manure, they tend to despise you.
Now THAT is what I call GREAT DIPLOMACY by NATO, USA and the UK!
These UK Foreign Service heads and USA’s Dept of State would not make a pimple on the arse of a real diplomat. Their go-to and default position: “Do as we say or we destroy you!”
Fwance couldn’t keep up Operation Sabre?
What happened to the foreign legion?
Mali and Ghana hired them to fight jihadists?
Clown is the way to go as we get hit with the Armageddon times seven layer cake.
