Wow, they even have the old Oct 81 MACVSOG issue of SOF. I was reading it outside the principal’s office during Catholic school suspension after a fight the day before, a big improvement over being in class. Sister Bernadette (SND), noticed me enjoying reading and learning and immediately sent me back to classes.
A couple of years later, I was pleased to find many of these titles sitting on the shelf at Ranger J*** on Victory Drive. Somehow I knew they would serve me well some day.

Many thanks for the link. I still have several PP publications from the 70’s. I especially enjoyed author George Hayduke’s great books on revenge, getting even & on how to really f**k things up without ending up in the slammer. What was really funny, usually after the table of contents, was the disclaimer “For Entertainment Purposes Only.” Not doubt, George included that in there to cover his ass. Now back to the link. Great info to have just in time for the fast approaching, much anticipated & long overdue “shit show.”

I remember reading the ’77 issue of SOF with Mike Echanis in it , He was the real Deal I believe he got shot down over Nicaragua ? Terrible loss.
