First Look: ScopeSwitch [LPVO Game Changer?]

NEW from Antimatter Industries comes the ScopeSwitch!

LPVOs have quickly become one of the most popular optics for carbines of all shapes and sizes. The 1-6, 1-8, or even 1-10 zoom gives shooters a wide range of options when it comes to shooting close in or at range.

It also gives shooters of all types the ability to better ID their targets before shooting, more essential for duty use but still useful for us normal people.

Downside? You have to take one hand off of the rifle to adjust the magnification of your scope.

Solution? Enter the ScopeSwitch.

Mounted on top of your rifle and running a wire to the magnification ring of your LPVO the ScopeSwitch allows the shooter to change magnification, both increase and decrease, without taking their hand off of their firearm. Simply stroke your handguard, and the magnification changes.

Compatible with any rifle that has at least 11.5” of 1913 pic rail on top of the rifle, the ScopeSwitch works with most LPVOs on the market – but not all.

This replaces your normal LPVO mount, but it only weighs 10.3 ounces total.

MSRP? Brace yourself: $600 for the 30mm mount and $625 for the 34mm mount.

As Antimatter Industries puts it:

  • Keep your C-clamp grip and simply pull your thumb back to zoom.
  • After your first shot, rapidly zoom out as the enemy scatters and then re-engage.
  • Faster friend or foe identification
  • More accurate no-miss shots, i.e. hostage rescue
  • 1.93” Optical centerline height.

We haven’t tried the ScopeSwitch in person yet, but the product appears to have some champions in Bill Rapier and Travis Haley.

“If I could take this back in time… It would have been a whole different type of turkey shoot, I’m just glad I have it for the next one.”

Said Travis Haley, Marine – Force Recon. Ceo of Haley Strategic Partners
