About the Author: Patriotman
Patriotman currently ekes out a survivalist lifestyle in a suburban northeastern state as best as he can. He has varied experience in political science, public policy, biological sciences, and higher education. Proudly Catholic and an Eagle Scout, he has no military experience and thus offers a relatable perspective for the average suburban prepper who is preparing for troubled times on the horizon with less than ideal teams and in less than ideal locations.

The Declaration of Independence was a treasonous document. It wasn’t “legal, lawful and peaceful.” It was exactly what was needed, an open declaration that the then current authority was fundamentally illegitimate, and no longer served us. Those men were the epitome of bravery and freedom.
We are in the same position today with regards to the DC regime, the United States Government.
We were Americans before the Revolutionary War. We were Americans before the Articles of Confederation. We were Americans before the Federal Constitution. Quite frankly, we will be Americans after we secede, separate, and balkanize from the DC Government. The 50 star flag and the Skittles flag doesn’t define us or our nationality any more than the Union Flag did in 1776.
Our country was born in secession. It was built on saying no, and then physically enforcing that boundary where it had to be enforced. It wasn’t built on being loyal opposition, supporting the King and Lord North, and by lionizing the Red Coats and the British secret police… like many “conservative” alt media try to do today.
Treason against tyrants is obedience to God.
