About the Author: Patriotman
Patriotman currently ekes out a survivalist lifestyle in a suburban northeastern state as best as he can. He has varied experience in political science, public policy, biological sciences, and higher education. Proudly Catholic and an Eagle Scout, he has no military experience and thus offers a relatable perspective for the average suburban prepper who is preparing for troubled times on the horizon with less than ideal teams and in less than ideal locations.

At 2030 Saturday I hadn’t heard of this dude. By 2100 two unaffiliated contacts passed it on. By 2130 he was appearing in my media feed. And by Sunday Mr Jamey Johnson was singing with him on stage.

This is how country music should sound in 2023, raw and heart-felt. Shades of Johnny Cash instead of the pop-inspired country garbage which all sounds the same. I’m a metal-head, but this song brings a lump to my throat every time I hear it.
^this^
I am so tired of every pop song being about so-called romance, while ignoring the realities that anyone out of high school actually cares about.
I’ll bet he doesn’t think guns are too easy get in this country, or in a small town.
