We all need to take a lesson or two from “Arab Terrorists” who learned the hard way that using electronica for communication was like holding a beacon for Hellfire’s homing in on them.
Even USPS “snail mail” records all addresses, sender/recipient.
ANY attempts at organized “resistance” require in-person, mouth-to-ear whispers in today’s environment. The best of codes still carries information, direct or implied – before their AI may even penetrate it.
The solution, the way forward?
As in chess, this comes too close to checkmate for my comfort.
What is the directive for a unit cut off from communications with their HQ?
The Resister, in an article, discussed what they refered to as a “blind transmission broadcast”. It is a method of having pre-set code words representing things and places. One if by land, two if by sea, was given as an example. If we find ourselves in a situation like Peter, where Jesus told him what he was going to do before he did it, then we are in serious trouble. I don’t think anything human has amassed that kind of power yet.
Here’s a thought and unfortunately, I feel like it needs to be stated. In our world, it has become much more difficult to ascertain who is telling the truth and who isn’t. I want to believe that Tucker is on the right side of history here, but, if he’s not, then he could be just stating this information so that the many who use Signal will stop using it. Having said that, I took the safe approach and deleted my account this morning, and I sincerely hope that Tucker is not part of the machine that is actively trying to destroy our freedoms.
I suspect this is the work of the Pegasus tool, not necessarily a direct “hack” of Signal….and frankly, that would be the easier approach for the intelligence agency in question. But this is just an educated guess of course…
