Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the highest-ranking U.S. military officer said NATO countries would eventually send military trainers to Kyiv as Russia continues its advance in Ukraine.

The New York Times reported that NATO has asked the U.S. and its member states to help train 150,000 new recruits.

We’ll get there eventually, over time,” Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told reporters on Thursday, according to the report.

France President Emmanuel Macron has said “nothing should be ruled out” when it comes to supporting Ukraine in the war against Russia, even if it includes deploying troops. “We will do anything we can to prevent Russia from winning this war.”
