Trump’s Secret Service Agents Were Prohibited from Requesting Additional Security at Butler Rally: Whistleblower

It’s been over a month since former President Donald Trump was nearly assassinated in Butler, Pennsylvania, and questions are still surfacing as to how the Secret Service could have allowed such a tragic event to occur.

As more and more information comes out, overwhelming evidence demonstrates that the Secret Service committed a series of blunders leading up to the rally in Butler that nearly got the 45th president killed.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) released a letter revealing allegations from a whistleblower directed to Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe.

The whistleblower alleged that top officials in the Secret Service told field agents not to request additional security for Trump’s rally in Butler.

In his letter, Hawley demanded answers to Rowe’s “apparent contradiction” that no additional security was denied for the rally.

“You must explain this apparent contradiction immediately,” Hawley said.

As the New York Post pointed out, the whistleblower alleged that high-ranking Secret Service officials instructed agents who oversaw the event in Butler not to ask for additional security through a manpower request —a plea made by lead advance agents before trips that are sent to the local field office.
