Senate Report: Biden Health Officials Knew About Myocarditis Risk From COVID Shots Early On; Decided Not to Inform Public

The Biden regime knew about the risks of myocarditis from the COVID-19 injections early on, but decided not to inform the public about the risks, according to a new Senate report released by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), Wednesday.

During the Biden years, Johnson, chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI), doggedly investigated the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 shots, and held several expert panel discussions on the mRNA products with world renowned doctors and medical experts.

Throughout his investigations, Johnson reportedly sent more than 70 oversight letters to Biden officials, but all, he said, were “either completely ignored or inadequately addressed.”

His new report states that as “the roadblocks are removed and more documents that have been hidden and withheld for years become available, the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations will provide transparency and let the American public see what is their right to see.”

Earlier this year, Johnson subpoenaed the RJK-Jr-led Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) “for records relating to COVID-19 vaccine safety data and communications about the pandemic.”

The chairman obtained 2,473 pages of records that reportedly “contain evidence of the Biden administration’s efforts to downplay and delay warning the public about the risks of myocarditis associated with the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.”

The senator’s 55-page interim report concludes that Biden health officials “withheld crucial health information from the Subcommittee and the public.”

“Based on the subpoenaed records the Subcommittee has received to date, as well as public FOIA documents, this interim report will highlight records and present a timeline showing U.S. health officials knew about the risk of myocarditis; those officials downplayed the health concern; and U.S. health agencies delayed informing the public about the risk of the adverse event,” the report states.

The report highlights how the Israeli Ministry of Health alerted officials at the CDC in February 2021 about the “large reports of myocarditis, particularly in young people, following the administration of the Pfizer vaccine.”

Additionally, the report includes documents showing CDC officials discussing the myocarditis “safety signals” in April 2021 based on Defense Department and the Israeli data, but “still not taking immediate steps to warn the public.”

Records from May 2021 include a discussion between health officials at HHS on whether to issue a formal warning about myocarditis.

According to the report, the formal warning about myocarditis was initially going to be distributed nationwide as a Health Alert Network message, which, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is CDC’s “primary method of sharing cleared information about urgent public health incidents with public information officers; federal, state, territorial, tribal, and local public health practitioners; clinicians; and public health laboratories.”

According to Johnson’s report, health officials at CDC and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) “ultimately decided against issuing a formal HAN and, instead, posted ‘clinical considerations’ on CDC’s website about myocarditis” which was widely overlooked by the public.

Of the vastly underestimated 38,000+ vaccine-caused deaths, 25 percent occurred on Day 0, 1, or 2 following injection, according to the report, compared to “2,663 deaths reported to VAERS associated with the flu vaccine over a period of 35 years.”

“No other reports of adverse events associated with any other drug or vaccine even come close to these statistics,” the report states. “And yet, those who oversaw the development and distribution of the COVID-19 vaccines continue to insist it is safe and effective, without providing the data to prove their claims.”

Rather than warn the public, CDC officials under Biden took steps to suppress and censor any information shared online regarding vaccine injuries, including a December 2021 American Greatness report, based on renowned cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough’s expert opinion, that vaccine-induced cases of myocarditis were far more serious than the COVID-induced myocarditis.

Despite the known risks, Joe Biden announced in September of 2021 that he was mandating COVID-19 vaccination for workers in the federal government, “with no exceptions.”

Dr. Robert Redfield, the former director of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) told lawmakers during a Senate hearing last July that the the reason the FDA pushed a false “safe and effective” COVID vaccine narrative was to prevent “vaccine hesitancy.”

The mRNA shots “never should have been mandated,” Redfield told the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on on July 11, 2024.

The report concludes that the “full extent” of the Biden regime’s “failure to immediately warn the public about all COVID-19 vaccine adverse events must be completely exposed.”

“The American people fund the federal health departments and agencies with their hard-earned tax dollars,” the report states. “The information developed by these departments and agencies belong to the American people, and should be made fully and transparently available.”

The PSI Committee held a hearing Wednesday, in conjunction with the report entitled, “The Corruption of Science and Federal Health Agencies: How Health Officials Downplayed and Hid Myocarditis and Other Adverse Events Associated with the COVID-19 Vaccines.”

Witnesses included noted cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough, Obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. James Thorp, lawyer Aaron Siri, and Dr. Jordan Vaughn, founder and president of the Microvascular Research Foundation.

McCullough testified that before the pandemic, he’d seen just two cases of myocarditis in his entire career. But after the rollout of the mRNA products, everything changed.

“There’s 1,065 papers in the peer-reviewed literature on COVID vaccine myocarditis,” he explained, pointing to a 2021 case published in the New England Journal of Medicine. A 42-year-old man developed vaccine-induced myocarditis. “The infection is ruled out,” McCullough said. “It’s the vaccine.” he said that three days after his Moderna shot, the man was dead.

McCullough also cited a shocking case from Korea—a young man who had died within eight hours of hospitalization after a Pfizer shot. As McCullough put it, his heart had been  “fried with inflammation.”

He also brought up a sad case from Connecticut: two teenage boys, 16 and 17, who died in their sleep just days after their Pfizer jabs.

“These cases… should have gotten everyone’s attention,” McCullough said. “We should never have someone die after taking a vaccine that’s directly caused to the vaccine.”
