When I had my Special Forces Warrant Officer Institutional Time at SWCS (a mandatory two year commitment) I started graduate school. For my thesis I chose China and the Potential for Insurgency. I concluded that eventually, China’s Multi-millionaire class would grow so large and powerful that they would provide the money to fund the insurgency and the CIA with US Army Special Forces would make it happen. The foundation of the thesis was that the wealthy elite would have enough clout to motivate the working class to shake off the strangle hold of Communism and enough influence to convince the US government to provide cadre to raise, train, and in some cases lead the insurgent force. So, I find this quite interesting.
You’re 100% correct. Just look at what China has done with people like Jack Ma. The CCP has a problem on their hands.
