I frequently go past two Cracker Barrels. One on US 27 in Northern KY & the other at the 1-71 exit to Mason, OH. People actually drive 20+ miles to have a lunch or dinner at these locales, especially on weekends. No doubt, both the food & country store decor play a big part in attracting long time, loyal customers. It will be interesting to see if the parking lots are full & folks waiting on the porches Sunday. Cracker Barrel management may have shot itself in both feet on this one. I still remember the fiasco over “New Coke” back in the mid 1980’s. Also, let’s not forget just recently, “Bud Lite” for good measure.
