How many of the reported 1 million job losses were due to illegals self deporting? I work for the Post Office in a small town. As a disabled Vet I received preference points. Our office has been shorthanded since the Covid years. We’ve got 9 opening. Starting pay is about $20 an hour. High stress around Christmas time but otherwise a chill job.
That’s a good job. My neighbor was a mailman. He lives WELL.
Not just your post office either……we have struggled since covid to meet staffing in mine as well.
