This administration is as much an enemy as the last. No, it’s not “his advisors.” He is blackmailed, he’s a client, they got videos of him raping kids – 15 year olds, probably. Occams razor, after all. This lawsuit was probably demanded from the very top, that being his foreign handlers. As he is much as compromised foreign asset as the last dementia patient was.
FWIW… Alexis and Kashyap do not have spousal privilege, and if Sam and Elijah’s lawyers are smart they will drag Kashyap into discovery as well and get all the texts, and I mean all of them. You know they ain’t using wifi only tablets for deniable comms… this administration has already shown it’s boomer levels of comms security (i.e., SMS on iPhones) quite a bit.
