There is an excellent essay written in the late 80s by Italian Philosopher Augusto Del Noce, in which he explains how Marxism is not the repudiation of bourgeois society, but a catalyst necessary for the dystopian triumph of secularism, relativism, and materialism. Communists are not the vanguard of a new, utopian world, they are the janissaries of soulless Capital’s final and most totalitarian form.
For any who are interested in reading Sig. Noce’s essay, it is called: “Marxism died in the East because it realized itself in the West.”
In this sense, Cultural Marxism and Activist Capitalism are not contradictions, they are the (il)logical culmination of Enlightenment ideology and Tikkun Olam synthesizing into something truly monstrous.
