Two U.S. service members are missing on Sunday in southwestern Morocco after an annual multinational military exercise.

U.S. and allied forces are searching for them, officials said.

The incident occurred May 2 at the Cap Draa Training Area near Tan-Tan, a Moroccan city roughly 15 miles from the Atlantic coast, according to U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM).
