Jac Weller remains undefeated. Fire and Movement, along with MAJ H. John Poole’s Last Hundred Yards, remain the most important and influential books on what I do professionally today than any other. Low tech defeats high tech. Inexpense, volume, and the drive of innovation paired with even basic tactical competence will always outpace the high tech wonder weapons promising omnipotence. And in each case since he coined the term ‘bargain basement warfare’ in 1967, he’s been right.
