Embassy evacuations matter more than singular strikes

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 One reported strike on one Iranian missile site makes no sense as an opening move… which is why the embassy evacuations matter more than the explosion

Iran hits a ship a day, so taking out a single launcher changes nothing and invites the disproportionate response Tehran has promised.

Matthew suspects someone wanted Iran to fire back, and he doesn’t think it was Washington.

Matthew Hoh, former Marine and State Department officer, says the departure orders are the better signal:

"I think you got a better than 50% odds that when the State Department evacuates people, something is going to happen."

Iran skips Israel unless Israel strikes first and goes hunting the US fleet and the Gulf hosts instead.

If Israel does join, both its refineries and its remaining ports go dark, and that is a price Netanyahu can run on.
