ERIK PRINCE: OFF LEASH UPDATE 29 OCT 2026
Off Leash update 29 October 2026
ISRAEL
•With around 90% of votes for Sunday’s Israeli election counted, yesterday’s preliminary results seem unchanged.
•Prime Minister Netanyahu’s ruling coalition won more Knesset seats than Gadi Eisenkot’s rival bloc but looks set to fall eight seats short of a majority. That means we’re likely to see weeks – or even months – of political wrangling.NORTH KOREA
•An investigation by Global Rights Compliance (GRC), a human rights group based in The Hague, concluded that Russia is recruiting North Koreans under false student visa pretenses (to evade a UN ban on hiring North Korean labor abroad) and farming them out to factories as essentially “slave labor.”
•The North Koreans toil in exploitative conditions, with long hours and few days off, and 80-90% of their income is diverted to Pyongyang. Some work in factories making weapons and military kit for Russia’s war in Ukraine, meaning their efforts benefit two belligerent leaders’ military ambitions.BRAZIL
•After landing in Miami, Flávio Bolsonaro took to social media to denounce the election he lost on Sunday – which he claimed was fraudulent – and the “witch hunt” he accuses Brazil’s Supreme Court of mounting against him.
•Bolsonaro initially called himself “the true president-elect of Brazil,” before softening his statement to declare himself the true “leader” of Brazil – probably at his party’s encouragement.
•Several senior figures within the party had encouraged him to concede quickly (he eventually did) and focus on capitalizing on the support his campaign drew to lead the opposition right in Brazil. He plans to do just that, but from self-imposed exile in the U.S.HAITI
•Haiti officially postponed the first round of its first elections in 10 years from December 13 – which looked impossible from the start – to July 18, 2027, citing the country’s prolonged security crisis. Few believe the situation will improve quickly enough to register candidates and voters for a July election, either.
•Meanwhile, the four Salvadoran airmen who were abducted outside Port-au-Prince in a gang ambush on Oct. 18 are still missing: the Salvadoran special forces that Pres. Nayib Bukele deployed to rescue them haven’t succeeded yet. An enraged Bukele announced plans to deploy over 2,000 more soldiers to Haiti.— ErikDPrince (@realErikDPrince) October 29, 2026
