First Iranian strikes already launched…more inbound?
🇮🇱🇮🇷🇺🇸 Two blasts at an Iranian radar site in Tabriz that Iran calls old ordnance being detonated… and a former Green Beret believes they’re the first Israeli strikes already landing under the table
Unverified eyewitnesses said the Sunday explosions sounded like airstrikes, and the site sits a stone’s throw from the border run Israeli jets flew through Iraq between October 12 and 19.
Anthony Aguilar, retired Green Beret lieutenant colonel, says a conventional raid starts by prepping the objective with fire before anyone goes in:
"I do believe that Israel is already taking a bite at the apple under the table and striking."
Anthony says the chief of staff fought over the timing, and he thinks the intent never changed, with a target list he says was handed to Netanyahu on October 10 running past nuclear sites to power plants and bridges.
He expects the Theodore Roosevelt in the region by the 28th, puts roughly 3,200 US troops already in Saudi Arabia plus those sent for Operation Yemeni Dawn against the Houthis, and says the Pentagon told bases to plan for 90 days on their own.
He adds this is the most draft talk he’s heard in a career that included the Iraq surge, and he expects stop-loss first, then drone and cyber operators pulled in with big bonuses or orders.
