US issues new security alert for MidEast Region
πΊπΈπΈπ¦π¦πͺ The U.S. just told Americans in 12 Middle East countries to be ready for cancelled flights, closed airspace and sudden changes to their travel plans.
The alerts cover Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Israel and Iran, warning that hostilities could spread and that Iran and its allies may target U.S. interests, including American businesses.
They also flag Houthi strikes on Saudi airports and infrastructure, and Americans are being told to keep a low profile and steer clear of crowds and anywhere tied to the U.S.
The alerts donβt mean airports are shutting down, but when Washingtonβs travel warning reads like a map of the whole region, maybe hold off on that Gulf getaway.
