The biggest advantage of learning to work with them, aside from what’s stated in the vid, is that they take up minimal space and are WAY more portable than free weights. While you’re at it, check out Pavel Tsatsouline and pick up some kettlebells.

Even better – check out Geoff Neupert ( the king of kettlebell programming – per Pavel) and pick up a PAIR of kettlebells and you will be set for a long time — after you’ve got your form down (couple of months.. or less – remember: you’re practicing – not working out) and you’re using a challenging weight – you can smoke yourself in about 20 – 30 minutes three times a week — the clean & press with a front squat will keep you in good stead for years — not paid by Geoff or anything like that but his stuff is simple and solid and worth the price of admission — anyway, my 2¢ — I left a link to his most recent and best program: The Giant – double kettlebell clean & press – https://salutis.kartra.com/page/gAY129
Geoff is awesome!
Kettlebell Swings and Turkish Get-ups are good, as are one hand Farmer’s Carries and Deadlifts
