Looks decent. I have the magpul with plastic lug and lips. I havent had any issues so far, but i havent used them a ton either. Nc scout have you had any experience with these.

The magpuls, in my experience, run fine, but the plastic lug will break sooner or later. I have a few that I bought before I knew about the shortcomings of plastic lugs, but won’t buy more for that reason.

You can turn your Generation 1 Magpul mags into an ammo can resupply. Just stuff as many as you have loaded into an ammo can and tuck it away. If you lined the side exposed to the lugs with a piece of cardboard or old sleeping pad you can protect the lugs. You might consider downloading 3 rounds to give the poly lips less stress from the spring. My friends and I have not had any issues with the lips or the lugs, but it’s worth the little bit of extra caution if you are concerned.
I turned all my 10 round magazines for various weapons into a few ammo can resupplies. In case of Human Wave attack. Or Chinese Paratroopers dropping from the sky. Our revolution is bordering on the same values as the French and Chinese revolutions. So we will likely see the same pitched battles of 300 vs. 300. Or more…
Don’t discount what you have, just adapt, repurpose, and resupply with another batch.

That’s my outlook on things like my magpuls- I’m not going to throw them away, instead I’ll keep them around as last ditch mags.

I have very little experience with the MOE AK mags. I do have quite a few of the M3 mags though, and those have all worked great for me. I just never bought any of the MOE mags as I preferred the metal reinforcements of the M3’s.
