Now TSMC is building America’s first 5-nanometer fabrication plant, hoping to reverse a decades-long trend of the U.S. losing chip manufacturing to Asia.   That is no accident.
  There are 4 of them in fact.
  Not just one.
  And the second one is next to the guys who developed the 6.5 Creedmoore.
  The other is in Florida surrounded by MIC contractors, retired police and military, and 4 military bases.
  And allegedly the 4th is just west of the Mississippi. Buried in the center of the country.

Even with work begun, these setups take years to bring online (2024 in this case).
I hope we _have_ ’till 2024.
