China intends to build a warship base on the ATLANTIC Ocean
China is attempting to woo Equatorial Guinea into allowing them to build a military base off their coast, according to a report – a move which would give Beijing a foothold in the Atlantic, and deeply worry Washington.
U.S. intelligence officials believe that Xi Jinping, China’s president, is hoping to convince the president of the West African nation, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, to allow expansion of an existing port in the city of Bata, and conversion into a military base.
Were China to convert the Bata port into a military base, it would enable Beijing to repair and rearm their warships and other naval equipment in the same waters in which the US Eastern Seaboard sits.

A classic — posted here on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
While today 80 years later, the traitors connive and America sleeps…..
As my dear Mum recalled, with tears in her eyes, told us kids: “…our Boys…our Boys….”

The real lesson of Pearl Harbor is to not trust our government, especially when it’s trying to get us into a war for dubious reasons. The McCollum memo proves that FDR wanted to provoke FDR into attacking to justify our entry into WW2 so we could support FDR’s communist brothers in the USSR.
Yup.
Read a book titled “Day of Deceit” by Robert B. Stinnett. Stinnett was a young Lieutenant in Naval Intelligence and helped break the Japanese naval codes prior to Pearl Harbor. The book also shows how FDR had a plan drawn up and implemented to goad Japan into attacking us. Nothing is as it seems or how we were taught.
Beingas the CCP associated companies currently manage and are modernizing the Panama Canal, combined with the ChiComs ever increasing insertion onto the continent of African in it’s thirst for rare earth minerals and other natural resources, the desired acquisition of a major PLA(Navy) base on Africa’s Atlantic coast is a no brainer.
This base will be used for the above mentioned, not necessarily as FOB for anything concerning CONUS. Had this been the primary intent the CCP could have very easily bought their way into a major Naval facility in Cuba, Venezuela or even Mexico (where they already have heavily invested in these 3 countries’ ports.)
The proposed port at Bata will open a new shipping lane through the Panama Canal which will be of extreme importance for China and it’s mining interests on the continent of Africa.
