Patriotman currently ekes out a survivalist lifestyle in a suburban northeastern state as best as he can. He has varied experience in political science, public policy, biological sciences, and higher education. Proudly Catholic and an Eagle Scout, he has no military experience and thus offers a relatable perspective for the average suburban prepper who is preparing for troubled times on the horizon with less than ideal teams and in less than ideal locations.

Dont play much anymore, but Fallout 3 & 4 were fun with the music.
I was hoping people would chime in with more. I have two other sets of songs scheduled for the next couple of days, though neither one had these two that you posted
Good article. A much needed review for me, too. I actually have been preparing for nuclear war since the late 1950’s. Still remember the duck & cover drills. Almost came in handy back in October, 1962 with the Cuban Missile Crisis. While we’re singing about good ole nuclear war, here’s one when I was just a youngster. Seems he was the only guy to survive an H-bomb attack & low & behold 13 gorgeous dames, too. It’s Bill Haley & The Comets, circa 1955, in the early days of rock & roll with “13 Women”
This takes me back to listening on the big tube radio at the hunting camp. Saturday night Grand Ole Opry was so crystal clear you’d thought Minnie Pearl was in the next room!
