Russian Navy creates threat much more powerful than Cuban army base off US coast

According to economist Mikhail Khazin, Russia has effective leverage other than army bases in Latin America to counter USA’s aggressive behaviour. It is not a single US base in Europe, but the entire military infrastructure of NATO in general that poses the main threat to NATO, the analyst believes.

The alliance sticks to the same principle.

“What is an army base? This is just a point on the map that can be entered into the coordinates of missiles. Any base on earth can be destroyed very quickly. The Americans are not concerned about this base, just like Russia is not concerned about bases in Poland or Romania,” Mikhail Khan said during an interview for a YouTube channel.

Russia has long prepared a symmetrical response for the alliance, Khazin believes. It goes about strategic submarines that can stay off the coasts of the United States for a long time. Russian submarines are capable of delivering a devastating blow to any target located on the territory of the United States. This is exactly what Washington fears most, the economist believes.

Russia’s progress crushes USA’s missile defence system

In turn, Russian publicist Dmitry Kulikov believes that the United States has wasted hundreds of billions of dollars to build the missile defense system. Russia has developed and put into service Kinzhal and Zircon hypersonic missiles. Russia’s progress in the creation of such missiles has minimised all the efforts that the United States has taken so far to build its missile defence system.

“American aircraft carrier groups are the cornerstone of the entire US military doctrine that Russia has simply crushed. The entire US missile defense system has gone down the drain. Hundreds of billions of dollars have been wasted,” the publicist said.

According to Kulikov, the United States has only one trump card left — the dollar. Many are convinced that the American currency is unshakable under any circumstances, but this is not true to fact.

Talk shit when Ukraine joins NATO.

I’m sorry for being old, apparently noone remembers all the absolute horse shit we were told for decades about the Great Russian Bear.

He turned out to be fucking Paddington! Fool me once….fuck the 3rd rate Russians. Go watch some YouTube videos on life in Russia, they still shit in the woods in most places, like bears.

    • NC Scout January 23, 2022 at 11:15

The recent examples of American failures are surely isolated, yes?

    • boss21. January 23, 2022 at 20:15

I shit in the woods. C’mon man, what are you trying to say? I am offended. Seriously though , Russia holds ground even while bordering around 20 countries. Repelled all comers. Not too shabby. The rest is birds chirping.

…what’s even WORSE=Russian defense budget (2021) $68B, and their stuff seems to work in general. “Ivan” seems to know how to handle his duties, “Всё ништяк,” and is squared away.

USA defense budget (2021) $796B, and we all know, EVERY piece of DoD hardware or software work just perfectly as intended with no re-works at more $$$!

I’m no Russian nor Chinese fan–BUT– you design a POS for them going into production, and you’ll catch a 7.62 x 39 pill to the cranium up against the stone wall. Prolly your immediate family as well, or at a min, they will be exiled to some frozen gulag or worse.

Compare to our MIC failures, cost over runs, flat out disasters. Who paid the price?

Remember: Commies have no religion per se; the Marxist religion is “science and engineering,” and all their energies are focused on the job at hand. They produce some mighty fine small arms of late, witness the latest Kalash iteration.

Imagine the devotion, spirit, love, ardor, and zeal of devoted Jews or Christians to God; now, imagine that kind of energy directed to weapons development and perfection. Especially navy ships and their targeting and weapons systems. They’re good and what they do in the main. How’d ya think Zhukov smashed his way to Berlin? Crappy kit? Hell no!

Us–recall SEC DEF Rumsfeld on 09/10/2001 testifying before Congress about the $2.3 Thousand Billion dollars UN-accounted for. Next day–down the memory hole. Estimates today say the Pentagram cannot “find” goods, services, tanks, ships, planes, ammo, rifles worth $8.5 TRLIION. Let that sink in come 15 April….

The Russian tech sector in general is far and away superior to the US. It was bad in the 2000s, its gotten worse since the infusion of social equity into the hard sciences.

We’re producing blue haired nothings and giving our secrets away wholesale to Chinese grad students. Meanwhile they’re developing weapon systems we cannot match and a strategy that has already destroyed the US. They’re sitting back and waiting. Its all they have to do. Look at the shocking failure in Iraq, Afghanistan, and everywhere else these creatures placed their grubby fingers. The whole world sees it for what it is.

The US will not and cannot surmount the failures of its fools. When the MIC no longer had adult supervision this nation was finished. The 2020 election just confirmed to everyone the depths they’d sink to.

    Yes…

While I don’t care much for what an economist says about military strategy. I do think that the US will get wrecked in a peer conflict. We already have sleepers in the US. Not to mention the cargo ships (easily holding thousands of troops or used as missile launch pads as seen in North Korea from a freight train) that come into the San Fran Bay, daily. All the more reason to train. If there’s a fight coming, we’ll be a part of it and you better be ready.

      Yep.

Oh, we certainly have our share of problems but I’m not convinced the Russians are now, really, the Supermen we were promised they were for a half a century. You can’t just ignore history. , pretend it didnt happen…..I gathered a handful of concrete from the Berlin Wall when I was there in ’90……Im going to have to see something more than Russian press releases to convince me. Seems to me Wagner (Putins Little Green Men) got their shit pushed in in Syria by Trump and they did nothing….The Russians are a regional power with a nuclear arsenal until proven otherwise.

  6. Michael January 23, 2022 at 13:31

Respectfully, did you think out what you said here?

“The Russians are a regional power with a nuclear arsenal until proven otherwise”

A Strong US Military can be defeated by Poor Leadership, even worse fall because of traitorous behaviors.

    Afghanistan springs to mind.

    A quote to ponder

    The Enemy Within
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.” –Marcus Tullius Cicero, 106 BC – 43 BC

Does Cicero describe anybody or any governmental agency we know?

Let alone a fair percentage of our population that accept anything Fakebook and the Media tells them. Most on the Gov dole.

A Regional Power with a pretty massive nuclear arsenal, a Socialist-Democrat Government OWNED by the Chinese (Please Prove Me Wrong here) and an Idiot Sockpuppet trying out lines from Arnold Schwarzenegger films, trying to KEEP His 10% for the Big Guy…

I DONOT Discount some 3rd party shit stirrer doing a dirty on our naval assets just to FORCE the issue. False Flags are probable. Turkey has dreams of being a BIG DOG as well as others.

I am not looking forward to the troubles our military and our country is facing.

  7. American Yeoman January 23, 2022 at 14:09

None of which makes the Russians perfect and Supermen. Have you seen Putins public approval numbers? Because a society of Oligarchs couldn’t possibly result in a power struggle… There is some thought that the reason Putins Wagner pets got their asses beat in Syria is because some members of the MOD don’t like them and hung them out to dry……What exactly is the Russian plan for Putins succession? We in theory can vote our idiots out…

The Russians Armata tank, broke down in its big “debut”, the video is on YouTube, their single aircraft carrier is towed out periodically to show the flag. At least one of their hypersonic missiles nearly sunk its launch vessel and what exactly was that huge mysterious explosion a few years ago? I’ve been to Russia, you think WE have infrastructure issues?

Further, our allies, as a consequence of Trumps threats etc….have figured out that they need to fix their shit. Look at the new Australian purchases, the Spanish are sending aircraft to Bulgaria…when was the last time you saw that? The Swedes are talking seriously about joining Nato…..

I suppose we will see but our national intelligence services for 50 years at every level told us how invincible they were. They were either idiots or liars or both because it was a lie.

    • boss21 January 23, 2022 at 22:39

The ‘Spanish are sending… when was the last time we saw that?’ 1941- when the Spanish Blue Division partook in the Siege of Leningrad. They were sent packing along with 180,000 Hungarians, 250,000 Italians, 250,000 Rumanians, another half – million Croat, Bosnian, Baltic , Low Countries and Scandinavian volunteers. Oh , I almost forgot – the Wehrmacht and SS. Putin’s approval numbers outside Moscow and St Petersburg are rock solid and irrelevant. Russians like Tsars but love the motherland more. Russia was ,is and always will be a reality check on the delusions of Europe’s ‘elite’. The Kriegsmarine Chief resigned over this very point to try and wake up Berlin and Brussells. Play in the Great Game hall of mirrors all you want but count me out. No more brother wars.
