You had better develop a healthy respect for the alphabet soup boys. I can tell you that you have virtually no chance if they choose you to bring a case against. It is an outlier that they lost here and only because of hubris and the folly of certain agents on the case.
The Supreme Court has said that it is legal for the feds to try you over and over and over until they get a guilty verdict. Some defendants have been brought to trial seven times to secure a conviction! In addition, the doctrine of dual sovereignty, according to a recent Supreme Court case, Gamble v. United States, No. 17-646, 587 U.S. ___ (2019), allows for the feds to charge you for the exact same crime as a state court. In some cases after you have completed your entire state sentence they can scoop you up and try you for the same crime!
Expect no respite nor quarter from the courts. Better you die.
