Abortion rights activists are likely to stage protests nationwide through at least mid-May in response to a recently leaked draft opinion by one Supreme Court justice that activist groups fear may signal intent to overturn a 1973 ruling establishing the right to abortion nationwide.

Rallies and marches will likely occur in most states, with the largest protests likely to be held in major cities and state capitals. Government buildings, including federal courts, are likely rallying points in any demonstrations that occur. Protests are also likely to continue outside the US Supreme Court in Washington, DC. While demonstrations will likely vary in size, heightened security and localized transport disruptions are possible near any action that materializes. Counter-protests are also possible; low-level clashes cannot be ruled out if opposing groups of activists come in close proximity to each other.

Advice

Avoid all demonstrations as a standard security precaution. Allow additional time to reach destinations near announced rally sites. If violence occurs, immediately leave the area and seek shelter in a non-government building. Do not attempt to drive through protester roadblocks. Heed the instructions of local authorities.

Where is “Joe Biden” announcing in public to respect the RULE OF LAW and that there should be NO VIOLENCE, NO DISRUPTION OF RELIGIOUS SERVICES, NO DESECRATION OF CHURCHES?

As a Catholic, I attend the Vigil Services on Saturday. BUT, I will be in our church’s narthex Sunday to make sure no “protesters” disrupt Sunday’s Mothers’ Day services.

Ironic, isn’t it–even the Muslims are against abortion. Yet, do you see these unhinged fanatics attacking any Mosques?

I and mine will be keeping a eye on our churches.
Honestly here, I very highly doubt any trouble, but….ya never know.
So we’ll just be driving circling around watching as a Early Warning System.
I know 2 of the churches here have..guys that act as Internal Security.

As just a fyi..We aren’t a practicing spiritual family.

But We aren’t going to just sit around enjoying our day when our friends and town “may”, “may” get harassed or worse.

What this bunch in DC has unleashed by SILENCE truely, TRUELY is just beyond Sanity or Anything I would EVER have Dreamed of on my ugliest most negative day.

For those who live in Blue Hive areas or even anything marginal, good idea to research and KNOW the politics of the DA, and police chief. Otherwise, best to be legally and otherwise prepared for Bay of Pigs-Gulag treatment, e.g. 1). You are on your own; 2). You will be locked away for a year without charges and no chance of bail; 3). Republican politicians will be the first to Judas you, condemning you while leading the pack of those running away.

Having said that, when will our side EVER get smart, organized, and fight clever?? We are NOT stupid.

My home parish is maybe 10 mins from my house. We try to avoid going there for Mass after they closed up during quarantine. Nonetheless, I hope nothing happens there tomorrow.

I live in the capital of my state, which is a red state but the capital is blue. Where my family & I go now is in the sticks and the priest says Traditional Latin Mass. Out there, attendees are much less likely to tolerate any shenanigans.

To all Catholics, if you need to go to Confession, do so today! We do not know what will happen tomorrow. To all of our brothers and sisters in Christ here at AP, as well as non-religious readers of AP, thanks for having our 6. We have yours, rest assured.

By the looks of the altar and walls, this is probably a parish that says Novus Ordo Mass (Mass in the vernacular language, among other things). Regardless, it looks like they did this during the Homily (sermon). Why didn’t any parishoners get out of the pews and drag these harpies out?!?
