Henry Kissinger: Ukraine must give Russia territory

Veteran US statesman Henry Kissinger has urged the West to stop trying to inflict a crushing defeat on Russian forces in Ukraine, warning that it would have disastrous consequences for the long term stability of Europe.

The former US secretary of state and architect of the Cold War rapprochement between the US and China told a gathering in Davos that it would be fatal for the West to get swept up in the mood of the moment and forget the proper place of Russia in the European balance of power.

Dr Kissinger said the war must not be allowed to drag on for much longer, and came close to calling on the West to bully Ukraine into accepting negotiations on terms that fall very far short of its current war aims.

“Negotiations need to begin in the next two months before it creates upheavals and tensions that will not be easily overcome. Ideally, the dividing line should be a return to the status quo ante. Pursuing the war beyond that point would not be about the freedom of Ukraine, but a new war against Russia itself,” he said.

He told the World Economic Forum that Russia had been an essential part of Europe for 400 years and had been the guarantor of the European balance of power structure at critical times. European leaders should not lose sight of the longer term relationship, and nor should they risk pushing Russia into a permanent alliance with China.

“I hope the Ukrainians will match the heroism they have shown with wisdom,” he said, adding with his famous sense of realpolitik that the proper role for the country is to be a neutral buffer state rather than the frontier of Europe.

Yea, I have a hard time thinking anything he says is what we should do, the exact opposite is more my inkling.

This is literally the guy that paved the way for China to join the civilized world- they would still be starving to death and purging one another if not for the lifeline Kissinger threw them by giving them access to World Markets, technology and systems. Where has that gotten us?

Biggest fucking diplomatic mistake of the late 20th Century. But, I guess some folks made a shit ton of money shipping our manufacturing over there, so that’s good….

The ambassador from the castle dwellers to the slave governments has spoken, advising them to to recalibrate their dwindling supply of bullshit. Hate him if you want but ignore his utterances at your own risk.

Let’s go back further to mid 1968. This douche bag is the US’s chief negotiator at the Paris Peace Talks. A last ditch attempt to end the Vietnam War. He constantly pissed the North Vietnam/Vietcong representatives off with his arrogance & so called intellectual superiority. Just remember the talks dragged on and off for four years. Finally all parties reach an agreement a month before Tricky Dick’s bid for a second term in the 1972 US presidential election. A coincidence or just a political maneuver to assure Nixon four more years in the White House? The war officially ends in January, 1973 with a settlement all sides are suppose to honor. South Vietnam is assured autonomy and North Vietnam & the Vietcong are to remain above the DMZ. The US withdraws. In the spring of 1975, Saigon falls & turns red. Don’t worry, just a few years later, US corporations flock to Vietnam and set up shop. Just thank Henry for the cheap Nike sport shoes. By the way, don’t forgot the 58,653 Americans who died there just so you could save a few bucks, too.

Her is a typical Kissinger quote. Tells you all you need to know:
“Once the herd accepts mandatory vaccinations, it’s game over. They will accept anything — forcible blood or organ donation — “for the greater good”. We can genetically modify children or sterilize them — “for the greater good”. Control sheep minds and you can control the herd. Vaccine makers stand to make billions. And many of you in this room are investers. It’s a big win-win. We thin out the herd and the herd pays us for extermination services.”
